옛날 옛날에 한 소녀가 있었어요. 소녀는 쓸데없이 잘 웃었어요. 까르르르~~ 소녀가 일하는 곳은 ‘기술력’에 대한 강박이 있었어요. 맨날 ‘XX에 대한 기술력으로...’, ‘우리는 기술력을 쌓아서..’ 운운 뭐 기술력이 별건가요. 노가다 하다보면 쌓이는거죠. 소녀는 돈이 필요해서 노가다를 했어요. 기술력이 +1 증가했습니다. 뿅. 얼마나 되는 능력치인지 모르겠지만 소녀는 갈수록 자신이 부족하다 느꼈어요. 근데 보니 그 당시 리더들은 기술력이 없어도 승진은 잘만 했더라구요. 그 중 아주 드문 여성 리더 한 분이 소녀에게 참교육을 시전했습니다. 바로 옷차림에 대해서였죠. 소녀의 옷은 여성스러웠대요. 무슨 회사에 반짝이나 레이스를 입고 다닌 것도 아니였는데 그 시절은 그랬어요. (3년 전 회사에 망사를 입고 다니는 소녀가 등장! 물론 그녀도 화장실에 불려가 참교육을 받았지만...) 어쨌든 소녀는 여자 선배님들이 그 자리에 오기까지 투쟁하며 살아온 참교육 배경을 이해하기에, 더욱 장식이 없는 단색 브라우스에 단색 H라인 치마 위주로 옷을 입었는데, 찬찬히 살펴보니 옷이 문제가 아니더군요. 그냥 ‘이 분야에선’ 소녀를 처음 보면 들러리 내지는 병풍으로 보는거죠. 거기에 눈을 접고 웃고 있으면 영 영특해 보이지가 않는거죠. ㅇㅈ 소녀는 비서룩은 입되 그 외엔 신경을 쓰지 않기로 했어요. 어차피 보는 시선이 똑같거든요. 같이 일하기 전에는. 그래서 소녀는 다시 노가다에 집중했습니다. 아 노가다 짱 좋아...진짜 좋아했는데. 소녀는 모험을 떠나 새로운 분야에 왔어요. 이 곳에선 오히려 소녀의 옷차림은 너무 격식을 차린 거라 무슨 회의나 행사있냐고 물어봐요. 처음엔 경계하던 소녀는 옷차림을 조금씩 풀기 시작했습니다. (이제 레이스 치마도 입죠. 너무 풀었나...) 업무 파트너가 여러 조직이 있는데 그 중 남초 조직에서 일하는 어떤 여성분은 맨날 까르르 웃고 다니는 소녀를 물로 봤어요. 소녀는 거울과 같아서 세게 나오면 같이 세게 나가는데, 오히려 다시 봤다며 좋아하더군요. -o- 소녀는 편하게 지내려 합니다. 웃고 싶으면 웃고, 예쁘게 입고 싶으면 입고. 뭐 어차피 50대 이후에 일하는 녀성 동지는 결국 우리 멋진 외교부 장관처럼 입게 되고 어디가 앉아 있든 무게감 넘치지 않겠습니까 다만 한가지. 아직 그렇게 되기 전이니 더더욱 신경 쓰는 것은, 테이블에 앉아서 안건을 말할 때, 완전히 다른 느낌일 정도로 영민할 수 있기만을 바랄 뿐입니다. 아직 참 갈 길이 멉니다. * 수박이두통에게보린님에 의해서 티타임 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2018-05-14 11:26) * 관리사유 : 추천게시판으로 복사합니다. 대학다닐 때 들었던 한 강연의 연사분이 '검증되지 않은 권위에 굴복하지 마라'라는 말씀을 하셨었는데
그게 저에게 큰 영향을 끼쳤었습니다.
저는 일하면서 아예 '비위 안 맞추고', '오직 기술력' 으로 포지션을 잡고 있는데요. 의식되는 부분은 조금 있어도, 굉장히 편한데
이건 제가 조직생활을 하지 않기 때문에 가능한 것이기도 하고,
그냥 운동노가다 잘해서 내 몸 건강해지면 겉보기에도 좋고 별 치장 안 해도 귀찮은 소리 듣지 않는 '남자'라
수월한 부분도 있는 것 같아요.
사회가 좀 더 성숙한 사회가 되면, 사소한 룩보다 ... 더 보기
그게 저에게 큰 영향을 끼쳤었습니다.
저는 일하면서 아예 '비위 안 맞추고', '오직 기술력' 으로 포지션을 잡고 있는데요. 의식되는 부분은 조금 있어도, 굉장히 편한데
