 그렇습니다. 1위했습니다. 가하하하핫(...). 지금까지 게임하면서 랭킹에 들어가 본 적이 단 한번도 없고, 오락실 게임 원코인 클리어래봤자 익숙해지면 모두들 클리어하는 스노우브라더스2 뿐이었는데, 덜컥 1위에 올라버리니 조금은 당황스러웠죠. 앞으로 랭킹형 난투가 있을 때 1위가 #. 사천성, 상하이, 그리고 헌티드 맨션 원래는 마작패로 하는 솔리테어입니다. 둘의 차이가 뭐냐면 사천성 : 단층. 직선으로 두 번 이하로 꺾어서 연결할 수 있는 위치에 있는 패를 소거 상하이 : 다층. 최소한 좌우 한 쪽이 뚫려있고 위에 다른 패가 없는 패를 소거 이 차이에요. Toby님이 쓴 글 보면, 헌티드 맨션은 상하이 룰로 해야 하는 게임이죠. Q. 어떤 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 쓰시나요? / 기기는 뭐 쓰셨어요? A. 제 휴대폰은 갤럭시 S5입니다. 실사용한지 2년을 훌쩍 넘긴 기기죠. 그리고 평소엔 Habit Browser를 사용합니다. 크롬 기반의 브라우저인데, 제스처로 탭 이동이 편하고 애드블럭이 달려있어서 데이터 아끼는데엔 괜찮은 브라우저죠. 브라우저가 업데이트되었는지 지금은 해결된 문제지만, 처음엔 지연현상이 꽤 심했었습니다. 패산 로딩하는데 2초는 잡아먹고, 블럭을 누르면 0.5초 뒤에야 반응이 왔죠. 이 상태에서 타임어택을 하려면 머리속으로 없어질 패를 실시간으로 그려가면서(...) 화면을 연타해야 했습니다.  27.1초는 그 선입력을 극한으로 발동한 결과물이었죠. 그러다가 '어차피 크롬에서 편의기능 덕지덕지 붙은 브라우저인거 그냥 크롬으로 하면 되잖아?'라는 생각이 문득 들었고, 그 결과...  유레카! 로딩 딜레이도 없었고, 반응속도도 빨랐습니다. 그리고 대 크롬시대가 열렸죠. Q. 핸드폰 화면크기요 A. Toby님이 언급하셨듯이 헌티드 맨션은 반응형 웹앱입니다. 사용하는 브라우저 따라서, 가로냐 세로냐에 따라서 패산의 크기가 달라지죠. 패산이 너무 크면 손이 대륙횡단을 해야 해서 금방 피곤해지고, 반대로 너무 작으면 정확하게 터치를 할 수 없는게 문제점입니다. 설정이 따로 있는지는 모르겠지만, 크롬은 주소창이 화면 위에 고정되기 때문에 가로로 플레이하면 패산이 오히려 더 작아지더군요. 거기다 가로로 플레이했을 때 클리어화면의 재시작버튼이 잘려서 나오지 않는 애로사항이 있어서 세로화면으로 플레이했습니다. Q. 조작은 엄지입니까? A. 전 검지족입니다. 아무리 좌우 폭이 좁다고 해도 엄지가 대륙횡단을 할 일이 많아지면 불편하거든요. 거기에 엄지가 다른 손가락에 비해 굵으니 터치 미스가 나올 가능성이 매우 높죠. 다만, 오른손 엄지는 재시작 버튼을 전담했습니다. Q. 어떤 정신과 시간의 방 쓰시나요? / 헌티드맨션에서 깨달음을 얻으려면 어떻게 해야하나요? / 어떤 매크로 알고리즘 쓰셨나요 A. 타임어택 비결이라기 보다는 클리어 방법론에 가깝긴 한데, 모든 패산 배열을 Toby님이 다 짤 수는 없으니 시작하자마자 최소 1페어는 소거할 수 있게 제약을 둔 상태에서 완전 랜덤일거고, 헌티드 맨션의 패산은 11종류가 3페어씩 66개로 되어있죠. 이거 생각보다 쉬운 게임은 아니에요. 처음 시작하면 건드릴 수 있는 패가 4개밖에 없는데, 건드릴 수 있는 패의 수를 늘리는게 포인트입니다. 바깥쪽과 4방향 귀퉁이를 노리는 게 효과적이죠. 타임어택이요? 이걸 빠르게 하시면 됩니다. 16초대 끊으려면 어떻게 해야 하냐구요? 위쪽 2개층을 4.5초에 뚫어야 하고, 터치는 초당 4번은 해야 하며 동시에 눈으로는 다음 수와 다다음 수를 찾아야 합니다.  ......참 쉽죠? Q. 사람맞아요? A. 15초대를 기록하고 탐라에 '인간을 졸업하고 신세계의 신이 될 겁니다'라고 남기려고 했는데, 다행히도 인간으로 남아있게 되었습니다(...). #. 재시작, 재시작, 재시작 클리어를 목적으로 해도 원천적으로 클리어가 불가능한 스테이지도 있고 그걸 해결하기 위해서 파워모드가 있지만, 파워모드 안내창이 뜨는 와중에도 시간은 계속해서 흘러가기 때문에 파워모드가 뜨면 시간 상관없이 그냥 재시작 버튼을 눌렀습니다. 같은 블럭이 위아래로 겹쳤을 때 재시작. 3~4수 안에 해결 못하면 외통수에 몰리다가 파워모드가 뜨기 마련입니다. 다음 수가 보이지 않을 때도 재시작. 손이 쉬지 않는게 포인트라 다음 수 찾느라 버벅이면 타임어택으로선 실패죠. 조금 오래 하다보면 시야가 좁아지는 애로사항도 있었습니다. 그리고 터치미스. 손을 빠르게 움직어야 해서 속도에 신경쓴 나머지 분명히 터치했다고 생각했는데 실재로는 터치가 안된 상황이죠. 아마 많은 분들이 겪으셨을 겁니다. 미스를 깨달은 뒤엔 이미 없어지지도 않을 다른 블럭을 다다다다 누른 이후기 때문에 얄짤없이 재시작. 마지막으로 머리속을 떠도는 사천성. 이게 가장 큰 문제였습니다. 헌티드 맨션은 상하이 룰이죠. 그리고 전 사천성 룰에 익숙합니다(...). 상하이는 거의 해본적이 없는데, 사천성은 정말 질리도록 했거든요.  거상을 조선의 반격에 달려있을 때부터 했는데, 게임에 돈을 선뜻 쓰는 스타일이 아니라서 약값 모자라면 저걸로 돈을 모았습니다. 익숙해지지 않는게 이상할 정도에요. 상하이와 사천성은 패 소거 방법이 달라서 같은 모양이라도 공략 방법이 미묘하게 다릅니다. 예를 들면 같은 패가 여러개 붙어있을 때죠. 상하이가 신경을 조금 더 써야 하는 룰이에요. 사천성룰처럼 아무렇게나 지웠다간 파워모드가 뜨게 됩니다. Q. 어뷰징을 시도해본다던가 하지는 않으셨나용 A. 대부분 알고 계시겠지만 버그가 하나 있죠. 파워모드에서 아무것도 조작하지 않고 재시작을 하면 조건에 맞지 않은 블럭도 없앨 수 있다는 것. 하지만 의도적으로 이용하기엔 쓸모가 없었습니다. 어느 패를 없앨까 고민하는 시간에 평소대로 하면 1층이 사라지거든요. 어뷰징이 이건가?라고 쓰다보니 생각나는게 다른 사람과 같이 하는거군요. 다만 다른 사람의 손에 시야가 가려지는데다 손이 부딪칠 가능성이 매우 높아서 스코어링이면 몰라도 타임어택에선 좋은 결과를 내긴 힘들 것 같네요. Q. 가장 경계했던 라이벌이 누구죠? A.  라이벌리를 떠나서, 사실 이 때 생명의 위협을 느꼈습니다(...).
