안녕하세요, damianhwang입니다. 홍차넷 자유게시판에 처음 글을 올리는데, 역시나 글쓰기 버튼은 무겁군요. 오늘 올릴 내용은 책장에 수북한 책을 치워버릭 위해 했던 노력들의 현재 완료 진행형입니다. 직업 (종합병원 약제과장입니다) 과 취미 (잡지식 습득...), 및 만학도의 학업 (방송대 통계학과와 경영대학원) 등으로 인해 .. 아내가 기겁할 만큼 수많은 책들에 파묻혀 삽니다. 가능하면 e-book 으로 사려고 노력은 하지만 (킨들와 교보 샘에서 구매한 전자책들만 200권은 되는듯 합니다만.) e-book으로 나오지 않는 책들, 그리고 이미 사 놓은 책들을 어쩔수 없기에.. 이것들을 어떻게 해야 하나 망설이고 있었습니다. 이사한번 갈 때마다 이삿짐 날라주는 기사분들이 놀랄만큼의 분량... 때문에. (학부졸업 이후 10년가까이 혼자 자취하면서도 원룸에서는 살 수가 없어서 최소 투룸을 구했어야 하는 수준의 책들) 책 스캔 대행해주는 업체가 있어서 몇번 이용을 해봤지만, 비용감당도 어렵고.. 그래서..질렀습니다. 집에 북스캔 시스템을 구축했지요. 여러 커뮤니티를 눈팅하면서 얻은 정보를 취합한 끝에 다음과 같은 프로세스로 책을 스캔하고, 태블릿에 넣고 활용하게 됩니다. 1. 제단기  제본된 책을 잘라서 낱장으로 만들때 쓰는 것입니다. 자동 양면 스캐너를 쓸 것이기 때문에, 제본된 면을 깨끗하게 잘라내지 않으면 스캐너를 쓸 수가 없거든요. 책을 우악스럽게~~ 잡아 뜯은 후에 20장정도 분량으로 나눠 뜯어서 제단기에 넣고 위 아래 위위 아래 한번 하면 깔끔하게 잘립니다. CARL 제단기를 샀고요,, 20만원 정도 였던것으로 기억합니다. 2. 양면스캐너  평판 스캐너에 앞뒤 놓고 스캔 뜨는건 그야말로 노가다이기 때문에, 양면 스캐너를 샀습니다. 집에서 쓰는 메인 컴퓨터가 맥북프로 레티나라서 드라이버 호환성이 그간의 경험상 가장 좋았던 브라더사의 ADS-2100 모델을 샀습니다. 30만원 안쪽으로 구매한 것으로 기억합니다. 제단해 놓은 책을 집어 넣으면 자동급지 하면서 양면 스캔을 뜨고, PDF나 그림파일 등으로 만들어 줍니다. 책 한권 분량을 20페이지 정도로 나눠서 스캔하면 최종적으로는 하나의 파일로 만들어 주고, 빈 페이지는 자동으로 없애 주는 여러가지 부가기능을 갖추고 있더군요.   집에 책이 이렇게 쌓여있어서 아내의 등짝 스매싱을 매일 맞고 있지만, 학기중에는 진득하니 스캔 뜰 시간은 안나더군요. 하루 날잡고 잡아 뜯고 스캔넣기 루틴을 돌리면 책 한권 스캔에 10분정도밖에 걸리지 않긴 합니다만, 직장인이다 보니.. 3. 활용 1. 아이패드 미니 + 노트쉐프   얼마전에 이베이발로 구매한 아이패드 미니 2 (구 아미레, ) 128GB입니다. 그간 스캔뜬 책들 중 주로 눈으로 보면서 읽고 이해하는 부류의 책들이나 레퍼런스 책들을 노트쉐프에 넣고 읽습니다. 4. 활용2. 서피스 프로 3 + 필기 아이패드에 필기하기, 라이브스크라이브나 N2펜 같은 전용용지를 사용하는 스마트펜, 일반용지에 리시버 달고 필기하는 이퀼 스마트펜 등 각종 매체를 활용해본 결과..최종적으로 서피스 프로 3에 정착했습니다. 처음에는 TPT2와 와콤펜을 쓰다가, TPT2에 느려터진 퍼포먼스 때문에 서피스 프로 3로 최종 안착했는데. 제가 하는 필기 수준에서는 엔트릭이나 와콤이나 별 차이 없었기에 그냥 만족하며 씁니다. 서피스 프로 3는 대학원 수업을 들으며 필기할 때나 온라인 연수교육 받을 때 필기하는 용도로 주로 쓰긴 하는데,  스캔뜬 책들 중에 왠지 적어가며 봐야 될 책들은 서피스 프로 3을 활용합니다.  제가 무슨 책을 보든 간에 책 한권을 진득하게 읽는게 아니라, 하나의 토픽에 대해 책 여러권을 펴놓고 이것저것 읽는 괴상한 습관이 있는데, pdf로 만들어 놓은 책들의 챕터를 추출해서 원노트에 때려넣고 읽을 수 있어서 저한테 최적화된 방법이 아닌가 싶네요. 5. 학습능률? 일단 제가 본고사 보던 시절 세대라..(아버지 세대 말고 30대 후반-40대초반 세대중에 있어요 ;-) 뭔가 손으로 끄적대야 공부가 되는 스타일이긴 헌데, 그렇다고 또 인터넷강의나 방송강의에 익숙하진 않아서요.... 인강을 보면서 나눠준 교안 pdf를 원노트로 불러서 거기다 방송내용 필기를 적으면서, 관련 참고서적을 스캔뜬 것을 레퍼런스로 가져다 붙이고 거기다 형광칠 하는 식으로 공부하면서 나중에 정리하고 있습니다. 그냥 책을 볼 때에 비해 좋은 점은 책을 열몇권 들고다니진 못하지만, 아이패드와 서피스 프로 3은 휴대가 간편하다는 거죠! 책을 오래 보는 경우보다는 빠르게 읽고 넘기고, 필요할 때마자 찾고, 그 짓을 여러번 반복하다 내 것으로 만드는 형태가 많다보니, 항상 들고다니면서 볼 수 있다는 건 확실히 좋네요! 6. 비용 음...이 프로젝트의 핵심은 "제단기"입니다. 책을 깔끔하게 잘라내지 않으면 그 이후 모든 프로세스가 마비되거든요;;; 그래서 제단기에 무려 20만원을 투자했네요. 양면스캐너는 요새 저렴하게 나오는게 많을 겁니다. 30만원대로도 가능할것 같네요. 패드야 뭐 ... 저야 아이폰 첫모델부터 써서 애플 생태계에 갇힌 사람이지만; 필기 + 뷰어 용도로 갤럭시 탭? 도 꽤 훌륭하다고 듣긴 했습니다. 아수스 비보탭 노트 8도 와콤 탑재한것중에 젤 싼 것이고, 중고로 20만원에도 구할 수 있다 하니까.. 100만원 이내 비용으로 갖출 수 있지 않나 싶네요. * Toby님에 의해서 자유 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2015-06-17 15:39) * 관리사유 : 추천게시판으로 복사합니다.
