탐라에서 몇 번 언급한적이 있듯이 저는 남자치고는 향수를 꽤 좋아하는 편입니다. 물론 타인에게 나는 향수의 향을 싫어하시는 분들이 의외로 꽤 있으시기때문에, 감안하여 주로 외출하기 두어시간 전에 두세번 뿌리는 정도로 향수 생활을 즐기고 있습니다. 근데 가끔 외출안해도 뿌릴때도 있음ㅋ 몇 년간 무슨 바람이 들었는지 심한 향수 방랑기를 겪게 되었고, 최근에 그 방랑에 대한 결론이 났습니다. 역시 향수는 베스트셀러가 최고야! 오늘은 그동안 겪어본 브랜드들에 대한 개략적인 느낌과 저의 개인적인 경험에 대해 적어보려 합니다. 향을 말로 풀어쓰는것은 매우 주관적이고 추상적이기 때문에 감안해주시면 감사하겠습니다. 1. 조 말론 상당히 무난하고, 무난한만큼 지속력이 짧은 향을 가진 라인업들로 이루어져 있습니다. 그래서 향수를 처음 입문하시는 분들이 많이 선택하는 브랜드입니다. 블랙베리&베이, 우드세이지&시솔트, 잉글리시 페어& 프리지아 정도면 호불호가 거의 없을것 같습니다. 다만 약간 독특하고 인텐스한 향쪽의 계열은 경쟁력이 약한것 같습니다. 2. 딥티크 조말론은 너무 무난해. 좀 더 특이한 향이 없을까? 라면서 넘어가는 브랜드입니다. 향수 전반적으로 풀냄새가 나고 하여튼 무난한 향은 없습니다. 대표적인 향수로는 도손, 롬브르단로, 오데썽, 필로시코스 정도가 있는데 모든 라인업이 골고루 인기가 있습니다. 3. 아쿠아 디 파르마 물향(?)이 나는 미르토가 대표적인 향수입니다. 향수 라인업 전반적으로 건조한 꽃향이 납니다. 4. 르 라보 전반적으로 취향을 매우 타는 브랜드입니다. 상탈33이 대표적인 향수입니다. 이브랜드의 모든 향수에서 향수에서 날법한 기대하는 향이 나지 않아 처음 접했을경우 당황스럽습니다. 5. 산타 마리아 노벨라 향수 라인업 전반적으로 비누향 (포근한 향)이 나고 따라서 여성분들이 사용하기에 무난합니다. 프리지아 오 드 코롱이 대표적인 향수입니다. 6. 바이레도 전반적으로 (좋은 쪽으로) 인위적으로 만든 향이 납니다. 향들이 무난하면지만 나름의 특색이 있어 블라인드로 샀을때 기대했던 향이 아니라 낭패를 보기도 합니다. 대표적인 라인업은 블랑쉬, 모하비 고스트, 집시 워터 7. 이솝 라인업 전체적으로 풀을 으깬 향, 허브향이 납니다. 태싯이 대표적인 향수입니다. 베스트 셀러가 아닌 모델로 가게 될경우 그 꼬릿함에 취향을 매우 탈수 있습니다. (여기서부터는 한두개의 라인업만 사용해 본 브랜드입니다.) 8. 메종 프란시스 커정 쁘띠 마땅만 경험해 보았는데, 향의 시작부터 끝까지 상당히 깔끔한 전형적인 여성 향수입니다. 완전히 플로랄하지 않아서 마음에 들었습니다. 9. 크리드 역시 어벤투스만 사용해 보았습니다. 익숙한 남성향수의 향이긴한데 그 향이 매우 복합적입니다. 남자들에게 인기가 많은 이유를 알겠습니다. 10. 프레드릭 말 향이 무난하지 않아 접근하기 어려운 향수입니다. 포트레이트 오브 레이디 - 매우 센 장미향이 납니다. 2번이상 뿌리면 민폐일정도. 그 덕분에 지속력은 하루를 훌쩍 넘습니다. 제라늄 뿌르무슈 - 민트향(치약향)으로 시작해서 이내 끈적거리는 향으로 바뀝니다. 상당히 복합적이며 잘 만든 향수인것 같습니다. 11. 톰포드 화이트 스웨이드 - 중성적이고 우디한 향수인데 우디한 향치고 화사합니다. 개인적으로 상당히 마음에 듭니다. 앞서 말씀드린대로 향수 방랑기가 끝나서, 앞으로는 몇개의 베스트 셀러 향수만 사용할 예정입니다. * Cascade님에 의해서 티타임 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2024-01-23 10:25) * 관리사유 : 추천게시판으로 복사합니다. 요즘 저의 유일한 취미가 향수라서 제목에 향수가 있는 걸 보고 눈이 번쩍 뜨여서 들어왔습니다.
본문에 있는 브랜드 중에는 딥티크가 가장 좋아하는 브랜드예요.
꽤 많은 향수를 시향해본 편인데(그리고 들였다 놓았다....) 제가 까다로운 편인 건지
결론은 세상에 생각보다 좋은 향은 별로 없다(...)입니다. 아직까지 참 좋다 싶은 향수를 못 찾았어요.
향수 방랑기가 끝나셨다니 축하드립니다. 저는 아직도 허우적거리며 방랑 중이라...
향수 취미에 약간 중독된 상태라 엄청난 비용과 시간과 에너지를 쓰고 있어 벗어나려고 애쓰고 있는 요즘인데
쉽지 않네요.
