저는 택배 업계에 정확하게 종사하는건 아니고 다만 롯데택배와 계약을 하고 매일 백여건 정도를 발송하는 업체라 택배기사님을 거의 매일 만나는 입장이고 또 친구가 택배기사일을 하고있어서 주워들은것도 있습니다. 주워들은 것을 대충 나열하는 것이기 때문에 틀린것이 어마어마하게 있을수 있습니다. 어디가서 자랑하다가 망신당하시면 제 핑계를 대시기 바랍니다. 1 택배물건들의 이동 경로 택배물건들의 이동 경로는 대략 이렇습니다. [1 보내는 사람 --> 2택배기사가 수집 --> 3지역 대리점 ---> 4택배 허브 (ex: 옥천허브) --> 5지역대리점 --> 6택배기사 -->7받는사람] 예를들어 롯데택배라고 한다면 [롯데택배가 소유하고 있는곳은 4번의 택배 허브들 뿐]입니다. 2 6에 해당하는 택배기사들은 개인사업자 3 5에 해당하는 지역 대리점들은 직영점과 가맹이 혼재된 형태라고 보시면 편할것 같습니다. 다만 제가 직접 봤던 대리점들은 전부 가맹점들이었고 직영점을 제 눈으로 직접 목격한 적은 없습니다. *지역 대리점들이나 택배기사들은, 자유롭게 택배회사와 계약을 맺는 (명목상으로는) 동등한 입장의 동업자 관계입니다. 로젠택배와 계약을 하고 업무를 하시던 대리점 + 택배기사들이 통째로 한진택배와 계약을 하면서 이탈하는 사건을 한번 목격한 적이 있습니다. 아마 드물게 종종 있는 일인것 같습니다. *코로나 때문에 한창 택배기사들이 '까대기 업무'를 거부하고 파업하겠다고 나섰을때의 그 까대기 업무는 5번6번사이의 업무과정입니다. CJ택배, 롯데택배에서 나서서 중재해줄수 있는 과정이 아닌거죠. 애초에 각 대리점들과 택배기사들이 해결해야할 문제니까요. 2 (신입) 택배기사의 고충. 택배기사들은 CJ택배 등에 고용된 직원이 아니고 자기 돈주고 산 자기 트럭, [내돈내산] 트럭으로 CJ택배의 물건들을 대리배송해주는 개인사업자들 입니다. 택배기사들은 1->2 과정의 집화 건당 **원, 6->7과정의 배달건당 **원을 받습니다. 집화보다는 배달단가가 1.5배 내지 2배 더 높습니다만, 집화는 한군데에서 수십-수백건을 줍줍하는 반면 배달은 한건한건이 다 흩어져 있기 때문에 돈을 많이 버는 유능한 택배기사들은 배달의 달인이 아닌 집화의 달인들이고 때문에 택배기사들은 집화 업무를 수주하기 위해 택배회사의 영업사원같은 역할도 겸하고 있습니다. [집화가 돈이 됩니다. 배달은 별로 돈이 되지 않습니다.] 배달은 별로 돈이 되지 않기 때문에 신입 택배기사가 들어올 경우 배달이 쉬운 지역 - 예를들면 대단지 아파트 - 들은 이미 먼저 일하고 있던 택배기사들이 선점하고 있습니다. 때문에 신입 택배기사들은, 남는 지역 - 예를들면 엘레베이터 없는 5층건물 많은 지역 - 들을 배정받으면서 시작하게 됩니다. 뉴스에 나오는 과로사하는 택배기사분들은 보통 저런 남는지역에서 일하시는 분들인 경우가 많습니다. 저런 남는지역들은, 인기가 없는 지역들이기 때문에 한사람이 서로 굉장히 거리가 떨어져있는 지역들을 배정받는 경우도 많습니다. 그런경우 조정을 해주는 주체는, 택배회사 본사가 아닌 지역 대리점일수밖에 없습니다. 물론 대리점에서 조정을 잘 해주거나, 선임 택배기사들끼리 원만히 합의가 되면 모르겠으나 그렇지 못한 곳이라면, 신입만 죽어나가는 헬게이트가 됩니다. 신입이다보니, 훌륭한 집화처도 확보하지 못하고 훌륭한 배달처도 없다보니, 시간당 버는 단가가 떨어지니까 더더욱 장기간 노동에 내몰리는 악순환에 빠지는... 3 왜 택배기사들은 불친절한가 .feat 고덕 아파트단지 저만하는 생각이 아닐줄로 압니다. '[왜 택배기사들은], 무료봉사도 아니고, 분명 그 댓가를 받으실텐데 왜 이렇게 [나한테 불친절한가]' 간단합니다. [배달은 돈이되지 않으니까요.] 하루에 백건정도의 집화를 발생시키는 업자로써 당당하게 말씀드릴수 있는데 그 택배기사님들 말입니다. '평소에 웃을줄 아는 분들입니다' (놀라셨다면 죄송합니다.) 고덕아파트단지 요즘 한창 핫하잖아요? 아마 아파트 단지에서 따로 용역을 얻어다가 집앞배송을 맡기셔야 할겁니다. 그렇게 안한다면...? 음 글쎄요 일단 저상차량은 답이 아닙니다. 저상차량은 택배하라고 만든 차가 아니에요. 택배기사가 저상차량으로 며칠 택배하다가 못해먹겠다고 손들고 나갈겁니다. 아마 뭣도 모르는 신입이 선임들에게 낚여서 들어왔다가 몇달 못버티고 그만두고 그런 식으로 반복될거에요. 지상으로 차량이 아예 통행하지 못하게 만들면서 지하주차장은 2.7m 높이로 안만드셨다고요? 원래 다들 그렇게 건축을 하다보면, 생각못한 사소한 실수로 매달 몇천원씩 추가로 비용지출하고 하는겁니다. 어떤 사람들은 보일러를 잘못 설치해서 난방비가 ㅇㅁㅇㅁ하게 나오는것처럼 여러분들은 그냥 그렇게 지어진 아파트에 사시는 거에요. 누굴 탓하겠습니까. 4 택배 기사님들 고생하시는데 택배비 좀 올려도 되지 않나요 아까도 말씀 드렸지만 택배기사님들의 고생은 '배달'분야에만 한정되고 그것도 '불행한 배달지역을 배정받은 몇몇 택배기사님들'에 한정된 이야기이기 때문에 직접 택배업을 하지 않고, 단지 택배사의 집화 고객일뿐인 제눈으로 보기에 사실 택배비용 상승 압박은, 그렇게 커보이지 않습니다. 솔직히. 그리고 이 택배 업이라는게 사실 생각해보세요 왜 '롯데, CJ, 쿠팡'이 다 따로따로 물류망을 갖고 있는 겁니까? 그냥 한사람한테 다 몰아주면 안되나요? 예를들면 서울은 롯데 담당, 인천은 CJ담당, 수원은 쿠팡담당. 이러면 안됩니까? 그런식으로 생각해보면 사실 지금 택배회사가 넘나 많습니다. 전국 택배망을 온전히 갖고있는 택배사가 그렇게 엄청 많진 않습니다. 우체국, 로젠, 한진, CJ, 롯데까지 (쿠팡은 수도권/일부대도시를 벗어나면 택배망이 없어서 타 대리점에 위탁합니다.) 통신회사도 딱 셋뿐이잖아요? 택배회사도 셋만 남으면 됩니다. 그래서 제 추측에는 로젠과 한진택배가 경영난으로 망하기 전에는 택배비를 올려받을수 없는 치킨게임이 계속될것만 같습니다. 맺음 저는 택배업계의 직접종사자가 아니고 옆에서 그냥 보고 주워들은 썰을 풀었을 뿐입니다. 이 내용은, 저희 업체에서 집화를 담당해주시는 택배기사님이 내용을 [전혀 검수해주시지 않으셨습니다]. 바쁘신 분이거든요. 어제도 4시까지 물건 준비 못끝내드렸다고 혼났기 때문에 오늘은 두손 모아 영접했습니다 (한-껏- 공손하게) 분명 이 글을 읽으시는 분중에는 제 글의 어디어디가 틀렸으며 '이색히 ㅈ도 아는거 없네'하시는 분들이 계실겁니다. 바로 여러분 같은 분들이 게을러서, 이런 글을 먼저 써주시지 않았기 때문에 [부지런한 제가] 쓰느라 없는 지식 끌어다가 아는척하느라 얼마나 손이 벌벌벌 떨렸는지 아십니까?
