제가 홍차넷을 가입하게 된 계기는 홍차를 좋아하기 때문입니다. 물론 나중에 '훼이크다. 이 녀석들아' 급 자기착각에 빠졌다는 것을 알게 되었으나 뭐...때는 늦었죠. 어쨌거나 저같은 경우는 국내 찻값이 높은 나머지 거의 대부분의 물품을 해외쪽에서 주문하는 편인데요. 그곳은 바로 기회의 땅 스리랑카 입니다. 아시다시피 스리랑카는 오랜 기간동안 영국의 식민지로 있으면서 유명 차 산지로 본국에 양질의 찻 잎을 공급하는 역을 하였습니다. 그리고 독립하게 되었으나 여전히 차밭들은 괜찮은 질의 찻 잎들을 생산해냈고 현재 주요 홍차 수출국으로 자리매김하고 있죠. 그래서 저같은 경우는 스리랑카인이 운영하던 '실론스토어'란 곳에서 차를 주로 구입했습니다. ...만 안타깝게도 운영자가 해외로 이주하는 바람에 유통사업을 그만둬버렸습니다. 흐음... 그럼 어떻해야 할까요? 아무래도 저렴한 직구의 유혹을 뿌리칠 수 없는 저로써는 다른 꿀을 찾아보기로 했습니다. 그 결과 그럭저럭 괜찮은 곳이 있었습니다. 바로 이곳인데요. 가보시면 아마 '뭐야, 평범한 우표 판매사이트 잖아'라고 생각하실 겁니다. 하지만 여기에는 히든 메뉴가 있는데요.  바로 요 아주머니를 클릭하기면 됩니다. 저 사이트 자체가 우표 판매를 메인으로 하고있지만 차 유통 사업도 겸하고 있는 것 같더군요. 스리랑카 사이트들의 장점은 왠만하면 해외 배송을 지원한다는 점입니다. 가입시 주소에 받을 주소로 작성하시면 됩니다. 아, 물론 영어로 적으셔야합니다. Seoul City, Kangna...이런 식으로 말이죠. 몇 군데 더 저렴하게 판매하는 사이트도 있긴한데 여기의 장점은 바로 배송비가 무료라는 점입니다. 따로 구매대행 사이트를 거칠 필요도 없으며 배송비가 들지 않고 전체적으로 국내보다 저렴하다는게 꽤 큰 장점으로 작용하는 편입니다. 간단하게 가장 대표적 상품인 레몬티를 비교하면  국내에서는 이 정도.
