Q: 개인의 행동과 기후 위기에 대해 물어보겠습니다. 당신은 사람들에게 비건이 되라 거나 비행기를 타지 말라고 하는 게 아니라고 했습니다. 과학을 보고 그에 따라 행동해야 한다고 했죠. 혹시 사람들이 과학을 보고는, 거기에 압도당해 개인의 선택으론 아무런 변화도 일으킬 수 없다고 생각해버리는 걸 걱정하지는 않습니까? 아니면 자신들의 삶에 불편하지 않는 친환경적 행동만을 할 수도 있습니다. 그게 도덕적 실패라는 걸 압니다. 그러나 이 두 개의 시나리오는 제 행동을 설명하며, 제 생각에 다른 많은 이들의 행동들도 설명합니다. A: 한 사람이 고기와 유제품을 섭취하지 않는 게 큰 변화를 가져올 수 없는 건 사실입니다. 그러나 그건 단순히 한 사람의 행동이 아닙니다. 훨씬 더 큰 무언가죠. 한 연구는 4개의 다른 조건에서 실험을 했습니다. 첫 번째 그룹은 이런 설명을 받았습니다.
