괜찮아. 자기 자신을 몰아붙이지 마. 충분히 해 왔어. 할 수 있고 나는 그럴 거라고 믿을 거야. 멀리서 생각할게, 잘 될 거라고. 우울해도 좋아. 너무 기가 죽으면 하늘을 보고, 나도 그걸 보고. 그런 이야기를 듣고 싶은 사람들이 많아요. 저는 주로 제가 듣고 싶은 이야기를 다른 사람에게 해 주는데, 그러면 가끔 사람들의 눈이 글썽글썽해 져요. 그런것들을 보면 사람은 다르지 않구나. 그렇구나. 다들 외로웠구나 하는 생각이 들어요. 타로카드의 메이저 아르카나 카드 중에, 제가 좋아하는 카드가 있어요. 은둔자 카드에요. 은둔자 카드는 새장처럼 생긴 호롱을 들고 있어요. 그 안에서는 별이 빛나고 있죠. 아무도 은둔자를 찾지 않지만, 세상 사람들이 찾는 것은 그 호롱속에 있어요. 그런데, 은둔자는 때때로 그 사실을 몰라요. 간절하게 자신이 바라는 것들은 지금 내 안에 있다는 것을. 은둔자 카드는 기다림의 카드에요. 아직 기다리세요. 당신은 괜찮아요. 아니, 괜찮은 정도가 아니죠. 당신 마음 속에는 별이 있어요. 그 별이 빛나고 있는 것은 분명하나, 사람들에게 닿지 않았네요. 때가 되면 당신은 스스로 그 문을 열게 될 겁니다. 그러면 별이 떠오르겠죠. 메이저 아르카나의 또 다른 카드, 별 카드가 있습니다. 이 카드는 희망을 의미해요. 내 가슴 속 꽁꽁 닫았던 어떤 갈망들이, 이제 하늘 위로 떠오르는 거예요. 이름 모를 별들이 여전히 하늘 위에 있죠. 어느날 우리는 그 별을 발견합니다. 저건 어디서 왔지? 하지만 그 별은 그 자리에 늘 있었어요. 빛날 떄가 되어야 우리는 그걸 발견합니다. 은둔자는 그 날을 기다려요. 계속해서요. 그러니 너무나 쓸쓸하지 않겠어요. 별은 보일듯말듯 반짝이는데, 그 빛이 딱 나에게만 보이니. 그런 마음들이 제게는 참 와닿아요. 어디까지 가야할까. 버틸 수 있을까. 은둔자 카드에서 매달린 사람 카드로 넘어가 볼까요. 이 카드를 너무 간단하게 말하면 이래요. 달리 생각해 보세요. 그렇지만 전 그렇게만 이야기하고 싶지는 않아요. 더 이상 매달리면 내가 너무 힘들어요. 내려놓으세요. 괜찮아요. 시간이 흐르면 그 별빛을 모두 알아보게 될 거라고. 타로카드가 들려주는 이야기들은 상냥하다면 상냥하고 단호하다면 단호하죠. 하지만 거기서 아주 따뜻한 이야기들을 찾아내는 게 중요하다고 생각해요. 어떻게 하면 따스하고 조그만 구석들을 찾을 수 있을까? 사람들에게 필요한 건 어떤 정답이 아니라고 생각하거든요. 횡재수같은 건 모두에게 일어날 수 없는 일이고. 그게 사람을 불행으로 이끌기도 하죠. 홀로 앉아있는 은둔자를 보고 생각해요. 그럴 때마다 저는 이런 말을 하죠. 별이 영원히 거기에 갇혀있지는 않을 거라고. 어떤 카드라도 아주 따뜻한 구석이 있어요. 탑 카드를 떠올려볼까요? 탑 카드는 보통 사람들이 무서워하죠. 내가 어떻게 할 수 없는 재난을 의미하니까요. 그렇지만 거기서도 한 조각을 찾아낼 수 있어요. 번개입니다. 고통스럽죠. 힘들죠. 하지만 번개가 내 안의 고뇌들을 가져갑니다. 그 시간들이, 모든 것을 사라진 거기서 나의 길을 찾게 해 줄 거라고. 저는 좀 더 해석을 덧붙여요. 타로카드 리딩을 해 주면서 많은 생각이 들어요. 힘들었구나, 그것말고도 나도 힘들었구나. 가끔은 내가 나를 달래기 위해서 리딩을 해요. 누군가 댓글을 달죠. 언니, 저 힘들었어요. 괴로운 사람끼리 모여있어요. 따뜻한 말 한마디가 필요하다면 그건 해줄 수 있을 것 같아요. 우리는 은둔자들인 거예요. 별이 든 호롱을 들고, 나의 때를 기다리며 쓸쓸해 하곤 있죠. 그럴 때 손을 내밀어주고 싶어요. 저는 뭐 운명적인 엄청난 게 다가온다거나 그런 말은 못하겠어요. 하지만 그 말은 망설이지 않고 할 수 있어요. 괜찮아요, 언젠가 별이 떠오를 거잖아요. 힘들어 하는 것도 울어 버리는 것도 다 괜찮아요. 아주 먼 곳에서 내가 가진 것을 갖고 싶어서 우울해 하는 사람들이, 언젠가 그 별빛을 만날 수 있을 테니까요. 괜찮다는 한마디 듣기가 사실 그렇게 쉽지는 않잖아요? 그러니 저라도 해야죠. 괜찮아요. 괜찮아요. 괜찮아요. 상황이나 스트레스를 받는 상황이 꼭 나아져야만 한다고 하는 말이 아니라, 지금으로도 당신은 충분히 괜찮아요. 그런 마음으로 일년째 타로리딩을 해 보고 있네요. 그 사람들만을 위해서가 아니라, 사실은 저를 위해서기도 해요. 언젠가 내 호롱의 자물쇠가 열리면, 반짝이겠죠. 나도, 사람들도. * Cascade님에 의해서 티타임 게시판으로부터 게시물 복사되었습니다 (2020-10-20 10:03) * 관리사유 : 추천게시판으로 복사합니다. 태어나지 않았으면 좋았을 텐데.

사실 객관적으로 따져보면 그렇게 힘들지도 않은데,
