이제 곧 마흔이다보니 경력관리가 고민이네요;;; 석사만 하고 취업했는데, IT쪽 차세대 기술 관련 일을 하다보니 연구하는 사람들을 많이 만나는 편입니다. 그러다보니 이제라도 경력상 파트타임 박사를 해보면 어떨까 고민중입니다. BIG DATA나 AI나 아니면 뭐든 컴퓨터쪽 전공으로요. 솔직히 학교에서 무얼 배우기 보다는 그냥 학위와 인간관계를 얻고 싶습니다. 교수 지망할 나이도 아니고;; 괜찮은 대기업 연구소에 근무했고 현재는 차세대 기술 관련 일을 하고 있어서 연구나 최신기술은 좀 친숙한 편입니다. 저희쪽은 학교보다 회사가 더 빠르게 발전하는것 같기도 하고요. 이쪽 탑 컨퍼런스에서 발표한 경력도 있습니다. (혹시 누군지 기억 나신다면 넘어가주세요 ㅎㅎ) 학비는 그냥 자비로 낼것같고, 회사는 어떻게든 시간을 내보려 합니다. 1. 교수님들이 받아주실까요? (젊은 교수님 보다는 데미갓 류의 조금 안정적인 연구실에 지원하려고 합니다.) 2. 저널을 써 본적이 없는데 기술 외적으로 어려운게 있을까요? 3. 파트타임으로 졸업는데 또 어떤 어려움이 있을까요? 문득 떠오른 생각이라 정리가 좀 안되긴 하네요 ^^; 개인적인 고민을 읽어주셔서, 답변 달아주셔서 미리 감사합니다.
