저는 해외에 나갈 때 VISA 신용카드 + 비상금 현금 조합으로 가져갑니다.

2. 예상치 못한 문제로 카드를 사용 못할 경우를 대비해서 비상금을 현금으로 챙겨가는 것도 좋습니다. 저는 '최악의 상황에 무사히 귀국할 수 있을 만큼'의 현금을 카드가 있는 지갑과 다른 곳에 보관하면 든든하더라구요. 물론 지갑에도 소액의 현금을 가져갑니다.
어차피 큰 돈 들여서 외국 나가시는 건데 비교적 소액인 환전 수수료 + 카드 수수료 + 카드 연회비 아끼시려고 너무 많은 고민하는 것보다는 본인이 편한 방법으로 마음 편히 다녀오시는게 좋습니다. 대신 카드와 여권만 목숨처럼 챙기세요..

VISA(신용)카드가 연회비, 카드 수수료, 환전 수수료 등에서 약간 손해일 수도 있지만, 그 손해 이상으로 신뢰도와 안전성을 줍니다. 해외에 여러 카드를 가지고 나가봤는데, 정말 잘 알고 준비하지 않으면 막상 해외에서 사용이 잘 안되는 카드들도 있더군요. 그리고 각종 범죄와 소매치기가 많은 환경에서 현금을 세고 동전을 챙기는 것도 아주 불편합니다. 현금 쓰면 어차피 못쓰고 가져오는 동전들이 생기기 때문에 기껏 취한 수수료 이득을 다시 깍아먹기도 하구요. 그래서 저는 그냥 수수료 무시하고 VISA카드 사용하는게 행복하다고 생각합니다.
2. 예상치 못한 문제로 카드를 사용 못할 경우를 대비해서 비상금을 현금으로 챙겨가는 것도 좋습니다. 저는 '최악의 상황에 무사히 귀국할 수 있을 만큼'의 현금을 카드가 있는 지갑과 다른 곳에 보관하면 든든하더라구요. 물론 지갑에도 소액의 현금을 가져갑니다.
어차피 큰 돈 들여서 외국 나가시는 건데 비교적 소액인 환전 수수료 + 카드 수수료 + 카드 연회비 아끼시려고 너무 많은 고민하는 것보다는 본인이 편한 방법으로 마음 편히 다녀오시는게 좋습니다. 대신 카드와 여권만 목숨처럼 챙기세요..
