The study shows that increased production of a cytokine called interleukin-17a by a subset of helper T cells (Th17) was the mechanism...이게 뭔말입니까;; 하여튼 저런 게 과도하게 생산되면 이로 인해 염증반응을 보여서 그 결과 태어나는 아이에게 자폐증상이 나타나게 된다고 합니다. 항체와 다른 유전자기술을 동원해 산모의 자궁에서 Th17세포와 IL-17a의 기능을 차단시켰더니 실험새끼쥐의 행동도, 뇌도 정상적이 되었다고 하네요. 다른 단백질과 Th17세포를 타겟으로 IL-17a를 차단하는 항체를 이용한 치료법이 몇가지 비정상적인 행동양상을 개선시켜주었다고 해요. 이 치료법이 자폐증상치료에도 도움이 될 것으로 보고 있답니다. 이 연구의 면역반응과 관련한 자폐증은 엄마의 몸에서 일어난 바이러스 감염에 의해서만 생겨난 종류의 자폐증을 말하고 백신과 자폐증과는 아~~~~무런 상관이 없다고 다시 강조합니다. 면역세포 중에 T림프구라는 것이 있는데 감염에 대응하여 세포군을 형성해서 세균을 공격합니다. 이 T세포의 아군세포인 Th17이 IL-17을 방출하는데 이 단백질이 감염에 대항하기 위해 평상시보다 면역반응을 증폭시켜주는 시그널 단백질이래요. 이 세포분열이 과도해져 버리면 천식이나 염증성질환에 걸립니다. 어쩌구 저쩌구.. 여튼 임신한 쥐의 Th17세포활동을 억제했더니 새끼쥐의 뇌구조와 기능이 완전 정상이 되었다는 얘기인데 제가 아~~무렇게나 쓴 거예요. 좀 알아듣기 쉽게 설명 좀 해주세요. 이게 굉장한 발견인가요? 저로선 이런 구체적인 자폐원인은 첨 들어본 것 같아요.
