일단 약은 그리 강하게 들어가고 있지 않습니다. 연애나 결혼은 가능합니다. 부모가 조현병 환자라 하더라도 자식이 무조건 걸리는 것은 아닙니다. 다만, 조현병에 걸릴 확률 자체는 높아지긴 하지요.
조현병은 젊은시기에 찾아오게 되는 난치병이기에 조현병 환자들의 삶이 평탄하다고 하긴 어렵겠습니다. 다만, 진료 및 약제에 의한 관리와 주변의 지지가 있다면 일상생활에 복귀가 가능합니다.
가족 및 친구들과 의료진을 믿고 의존하며 장기전을 버텨 나가야합니다. 또한 치료에 대한 의문 사항이 있으면 담당의에게 꼭 물어보세요. 이에대한 답은 의사의 의무입니다.
