| Subject | 오랫동안 해왔던 전공과 직업을 싹 다 버리실 수 있나요? |

현재 제 상황이 그런 고민을 할 때인것 같습니다. 대학 전공부터 시작해서 약 20여년정도 같은 계열의 직업을 갖고 일하고 있습니다. 그런데 회사 상황이 좋지 않아서 갈등을 하고 있습니다. 다른 회사로의 이직은 전공 상 나이제한이 있어 힘든 부분이고 계속 꾸역꾸역 다니던가 아예 새로운 직업을 갖던가 둘 중 하나를 선택해야 하는데요, 사실 새로운 직업에 대한 두려움보다는 20여년동안 몸담았던 직업에 대한 미련(?) 때문에 고민하고 있습니다... 현재 일하는 필드가 프로토스라면 저희 회사는 스카우트 정도로 특수하고 잘 안하는 종류의 일을 하고 있는데, 그렇다고 비전이 크지는 않습니다. 주변에서는 모두 다 새로운 직종으로의 전환을 권유하고 저도 일정부분 흔들리고 있지만 새로운 직종을 선택한다고 했을 때 대학부터 여태껏 해왔던 노력과 선택과 지내온 인생이 결과론적으로 잘못된 선택이었다는 걸 인정하는 것 같아서 과연 그런 심리적인 무력감이나 일종의 현타를 견딜 수 있을지 의문입니다. 그래서 홍차넷의 다른분들은 이런 상황이라면 어떤 생각을 하실까 하고 질문글을 남깁니다. 제 주변 사람들은 나이대가 있어서 그런지 변화를 두려워 하더라고요. 사실 저도 좀 그렇...
