안녕하세요 홍콩에서 금융인으로 일하기 - AMA 글로 들어온 홍차넷에 저도 진로 관한 질문 글로 첫 글을 올리게 되네요. 간단하게 소개 드리자면 저는 현재 28세 남자로, 미국에서 아이비리그 대학을 졸업하고 군대 문제로 커리어가 표류중입니다. 아 전공은 정치학, 역사 복수 전공입니다. 제가 모종의 사정으로 신체등급이 낮게 나와서 병역 장기 대기를 하게 되었는데요, 아시다시피 해당 기간 동안에는 군필을 요하는 국내의 대기업에도 취업하지 못하고 알아보기 시작한 인턴십도 나이가 나이인지라 구해지지 않는다고 하네요... 졸업이후 4년 정도 여태까지는 프리랜서로 번역 등의 일을 하며 시간 보내고 있었는데 서른을 앞두고 덜컥 겁이나 뭐라도 해봐야겠다는 생각이 듭니다. 뭘 좋아하는지도 모르겠고 어떤 쪽으로 가길 원하는지도 잘 모르겠어서 고민이 크네요. 선배님들이라면 제 상황에서 어떻게 하실 것 같나요? 28살이라 새로 뭘 시작하기에도 참 늦은 나이인 것 같아 밤에 잠도 잘 안오고 그러네요. 글쓰기나 영어 쪽은 자신이 있습니다만 실무 영역에 어떤 기술들이 필요한지 몰라 더 고민입니다. 무작정 인턴십이라도 해보는게 답일까요?
