토론토는 솔직히 볼 게 딱히 없습니다.. 굳이 꼽자면 CN타워 야경, 로열 온타리오 박물관, 온타리오 미술관, 카사 로마 (중세시대 성: 당연히 중세에 지은 건 아닙니다), 토론토 동물원 정도를 꼽습니다. 그게 아니라면 페리 타고 섬 구경 (Toronto island) 하시는 것도 있습니다. 저는 햇수로 2년째 살면서도 CN 타워하고 페리 정도만 타봤습니다;;

제일 싼 방법은 차이나타운 (Spadina Ave) 어딘가에서 출발하는 카지노 버스를 타는 겁니다. 원래 공짜였다가 5달러만 받던가 뭐 그렇습니다. 대형 가방은 들고 탈 수 없고, 여권 등의 공식 ID가 필요하며 플레이어 카드를 미리 만들어야 하는 것으로 압니다. 카지노에 입장은 해야 하나, 게임은 안 해도 됩니다. 구글에 잘 알아보시면 나옵니다.
단, 학생이시라니 나이가 걸리네요. 만 18세인지 19세인지 하여간 나이제한 걸리면 안됩니다. 주법상 도박 가능한 나이여야 합니다. 어찌됐든 '카지노' 버스거든요.
그게 아니라면 토론토 시내에서 출발하는 고속버스 (왕복기준 CAD 30~40)가 다음으로 쌉니다. 네 명 모아 렌트로 가본 적 있는데 렌트비(준중형)+풀보험(탑승자 보험 제외)+기름값+주차비 / 4 해서 35달러 나왔습니다. 다섯 명 모으면 확실히 싼데, 쉬운 일은 아닐겁니다.
하나 더 추가하자면, 호텔에 문의하시거나 tripadviser 등에서 검색하여 나이아가라+와이너리 투어에 끼는 방법이 있습니다. 렌트카 없이 와이너리 투어를 한다면 이게 거의 유일한 방법입니다. 교통비(폭포 액티비티 불포함)+와인 시식+가이드 비용 다 해서 CAD 100 미만으로 구하실 수 있을겁니다. 혼자 렌트카 끌고 가는것보다야 비할 수 없이 싸지만, 와인에 관심이 없다면 전혀 싸지 않습니다.
