안녕하세요.. 아이를 키우다보면 의외로 아이가 기억을 굉장히 잘 해서 자기 아이가 천재가 아닌가 하는 느낌을 받을 때를 모든 부모님들이 한번쯤 경험하게 된다는데요 아이들이 커가면서 정말로 기억력이 좋은 학생으로 크기도 하지만, 잠시 반짝하고 말아서 별로 기억력이 좋지 못한 학생으로 크기도 하는 것 같습니다... @@ 전자의 경우는 원래 타고난 기억력이 좋다고 볼 수 있겠지만, 후자의 경우는 어렸을 때의 기억력과 나이가 들었을 때의 기억력이 다르다고 할 수도 있을 텐데 그렇다면 한 개인을 놓고 보았을 때 새로운 정보에 대한 기억력은 성인일 때보다는 아이일 때가 당연히 더 좋다고 판단해야 할까요...? 사실 기억은 기억하려는 노력의 양에 의해서만 결정되기보다 기타 다양한 요소에 의해 저장되는 것도 사실인데요(큰 충격을 받았다든지, 기존에 기억된 내용과 이어진다든지, 관심있고 좋아하는 분야에 대한 것이라든지...) 일반적으로 나이가 들수록 노화로 인해 인간의 뇌세포(기억력)도 당연히 약해지므로 어렸을 때가 한 개인의 기억력 최고 상태인 것인지 아니면 한 개인의 기억력은 노화와는 크게 관계가 없고 오히려 10살이었을 때의 기억력이 50살일 때의 기억력보다 좋았다고 느껴지는 것은 어릴수록 기억된 총량이 적으므로 혼선 등이 없어서 그렇게 보일 뿐인 것인지 혹시 정립된 이론 같은 게 있을까요...?
