안녕하세요.. 저는 지금 많이 멘붕인 상태로 미국을 가고 있는 길입니다. 저는 유학생활을 마치고 현대해운 드림백을 이용하여 미국에서 한국으로 캐리어를 부쳤습니다. 이 과정에서 캐리어는 UPS를 통해 플로리다에서 캘리포니아로 배송된 후 거기서 다시 한국으로 오는 것으로 예정되어 있었고요. 그런데 캘리포니아에서 배송이 오래 지연되어 확인한 결과 짐이 분실되었고, UPS측에서는 짐을 찾다가 포기하고 배상 프로세스로 넘겼습니다. 저는 가방에 도저히 포기할 수 없는 물건들이 있어서 현재 UPS를 직접 방문하기 위해 미국을 가는 길입니다만... 미국 지점을 방문해도 이미 분실 조사가 끝난 건에 대해 다시 조사가 이루어지지 않을 것이며 짐을 찾기 어렵다는 답변만 받았습니다. 추측으로는 가방에 달린 레이블이 사라지면서 배송지를 찾기 어려워 배송을 포기하고 버려졌을 것이란 가능성이 제일 높다네요. 이것도 당황스럽지만 추가 레이블이나 네임태그도 안 달아둔 제 자신도 너무 원망스럽고.. 멘붕 중입니다. 혹시 미국에 사시는 분들중 이런 경우에 가방을 찾으신 분이 있거나, UPS가 어떻게 운영되는 지 아시는 분 계실까요? 가방에 부모님 유품도 들어있어 많이 좌절 중입니다. 답변 미리 감사드립니다. 안녕하세요, 미국 동부에 살고 있는 호랑나비 입니다. 일단 tracking number나 모든 UPS 관련된 레이블이 사라졌다는건가요? 저는 예전에 USPS랑 싸우면서 제가 창고를 방문한 적이 있는데요. 결론을 먼저 말하자면 찾기 거의 불가능입니다. 일단 캐리어 사진같은 거를 찾아서 일단은 전화, 이메일 등등 계속 연락을 취해야 합니다. 클레임 센터에 계속 전화, 이메일을 연락을 취하신건가요? 그리고 정확히 언제 잃어버린 건가요?
