IT 회사에서 3년차 비개발 직무로 일하고 있습니다. 저의 상황은 회사 일이 불규칙하게 발생하고 촉박한 일정과 무리한 업무량으로 퇴사를 고민하고 있습니다. 먹고 사는게 중요하기 때문에 개인의 삶보다 회사 일을 우선적으로 하고 있지만 마음 속 깊이 이를 수긍하지 못하고 불만이 쌓이는 것 같습니다. 막무가내로 퇴사를 할 수 없으니, 우선 불만의 원인을 곰곰이 생각해 봤고 크게 두 가지로 정리됐습니다. 1. 회사 업무가 개인활동에 영향을 줌 제가 주로 하는 활동은 헬스와 수영이며, 주말에는 러닝을 즐기고 있습니다. 업계와 부서 특성상 불규칙한것을 알고 있고 따라서 나름 지장받지 않게 조정을 했으나 영향을 받고 있습니다. (운동은 퇴근 후, PT는 퇴근시간보다 늦은 시간, 수영은 새벽수영 등) 이로 인해 PT 시간을 변경하거나, 개인운동과 수영(전날 야근하면 다음 날 못일어남)을 포기해야 할 때가 빈번하게 발생하고 있습니다. 주말이지만 러닝도 전날 야근하면 수영과 같이 일어나지 못해 못갈때가 많습니다. 세가지 활동은 제 삶을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 요소들이라, 규칙적인 패턴이 깨지는 것이 싫고 스트레스 받습니다. 나름 회사일을 고려해서 같이 활동할 수 있게 했는데 그럼에도 불구하고 지장이 가는데 여기서더 무엇을 어떻게 해야하나 싶습니다. 2. 불규칙하고 무리한 업무 저의 업무는 불규칙하고 바쁠땐 여러부서에서 동시다발적으로 업무가 쏟아집니다. 일정은 짧고 급박한데 무리한 스팩, 요청이 오면 서로 조율을 해서 진행하는게 아니라 왠만하면 다 들어줘야 합니다. 그럼 저는 쉬고싶을 때 쉬지를 못하고, 야근을 해야합니다. 그런데 회사는 의무근로시간이 있고 이를 초과하면 위에서 상급자에게 압박을 주고 그게 아래로 내려옵니다. 저희 상사분은 제가 스트레스 받는걸 알아서 대놓고 뭐라고 하지는 않으시지만 초반엔 관련해서 몇번 말씀하신게 있는지라 신경을 안쓸 수가 없습니다. 입사 초반에는 퇴근 후, 주말에도 집에 일을 가져가서 했었는데 지금은 아예 그렇게 못하겠고 대신 연장근무 신청을 해야 가능한 시간 직전까지 일하거나 퇴근찍고 좀더 일하다가 집에 갑니다. 출근하면 어떤 업무를 할지 머리속에 그려놨더라도, 막상 출근하면 새로운 일이 생기거나 제가 생각한대로 안되는 경우가 부지기수입니다. 과연 내가 저 일정안에 충족되는 퀄리티로 업무를 끝낼 수 있을까?라는 생각이 매일 나고, 쉬는날엔 출근해서 일할 생각에 스트레스만 받고 꿈에도 나옵니다. 이 두가지를 보면 결국 저는 회사일보다 개인 일상이 중요하게 여기는것 같은데 이런거에 스트레스 받는게 화자되는 MZ 마인드나 요즘애들에 해당하는건가 싶습니다. 과거 선임이나 상사들은 어려운 환경에서도 더 힘들게 일했는데, 그냥 제가 약해빠진진 사람일까요? 다들 어떻게 이겨내시는지 의견을 듣고싶습니다. 회사는 글쓴님의 건강을 챙겨주지 않습니다. 일단 자기 건강을 챙기는건 가장 중요하죠. 돈 받은만큼 떳떳하게 일하는건 맞지만 정도가 과하면 상급자나 인사팀에 상의해보고 팀을 옮기거나 이직을 고려하는 것이 맞지 싶습니다. 이미 한 사람 몫은 넘치게 하고 계신 것 같아서요.
