안녕하세요. 국숭세단 컴퓨터공학과 3학년 재학중인 학생입니다. 1학년 공대 타과 다니다가 공군 전산병으로 복무하던 중, 프로그래밍에 관심이 생겨서 전역 후 관련 컴퓨터공부와 2학년때 전과기준 충족을 위한 컴퓨터공학 전공 수업을 듣던 중 너무 재미있어서 컴퓨터공학으로 전과를 하고 현재 3학년 2학기가 되었습니다. 현재 학점은 3.95정도고, 프로그래밍과 컴퓨터 과목이 재미있어서 파이썬프로그래밍, C프로그래밍, JAVA프로그래밍, C++프로그래밍, 컴퓨터구조, 운영체제, 리눅스시스템 같은 CS쪽이나 프로그래밍 과목은 모두 다 A+ 맞았습니다. 2학년때부터 웹개발 동아리에 들어가면서(1년 동안 활동했네요.) 3학년때는 서비스기업에서 주관하는 백엔드(자바, 스프링) 교육기관에서 공부하고 프로젝트하고 있습니다. 코딩테스트도 종종 공부했어서 저번 여름방학때 코딩테스트 스터디에서 대기업 관련 기출이나 유형 문제들을 공부해보면서 풀었습니다. 그리고 백엔드 장고/스프링을 2학년때부터 지금(3학년 2학기)까지 계속 만져보면서 토이프로젝트도 만들어보고, 현재는 프론트/백엔드 협업하면서 교육기관 프로젝트와 캡스톤디자인 졸업작품(AI+백엔드)을 만들고 있습니다. 백엔드 이외에도 토이프로젝트로 C# 윈도우 프로그램이나, 안드로이드 앱이나, 콘솔 게임기 홈브류 프로그램도 만들어보았었습니다. 서론은 여기까지고 본론은 아래에 적겠습니다. 저는 컴퓨터 공부가 재밌고 프로그래밍을 좋아해서 개발하고 디버깅하고 최종적으로 기능을 구현하는데 하루 시간이 금방 갈 정도로 흥미있어합니다. 그렇기 때문에 몇달 전까지만 해도 백엔드 개발자라는 목표를 가지고 있었습니다만.. 최근에 구직시장을 보니 마음이 좀 흔들려집니다. Si 중소기업만 해도 1명 뽑는데 100명이 넘는 지원자가 몰려든다거나, 매년 국비학원에서 Java + Spring 6개월 과정에서 쏟아져 나오는 신입 개발자들(이분들을 결코 비하하는건 아닙니다.), 서비스 기업은 채용공고를 계속 줄이고 있다는 말도 들리고... 게다가 IT쪽은 전공 여부도 안따진다고 들어서 더 유입이 되기 때문에 경쟁률 걱정이 되네요.. (솔직히 전공 여부를 안따지면 기업 입장에서는 전공자나 비전공 국비학원 출신분과 똑같이 보시지 않으실까요..) 그래서 비록 백엔드가 레드오션이라도 낮은 회사에 들어가더라도 제가 좋아하는 분야이기 때문에 경력 쌓는 식으로 개발자로 취업을 할 것이냐, 학점을 좀 더 올려서 Si 대기업이나, 기타 대기업 또는 금융권으로 가서 연봉이라도 챙길 것이냐... 고민입니다. 여기에 현업 개발자분들도 많다고 들어서 이에 대한 조언을 듣고싶습니다. 감사합니다. 서비스업체 교육과정이면 우테코나 야놀자테크 어쩌구 생각나는데.. 신입공채가 적어지긴했어도 컴공지식 자신있고 프로젝트 여러개 해보셨으면 적당히 괜찮은 기업취업이 많이 어려울거같지 않은데요. 요새 개발자 시장이 줄고 사람도 덜뽑지만 여전히 말잘통하고 일잘하는 사람들은 다들 찾고있습니다. 공급이 모자라요. 요샌 토이프로젝트도 오픈소스나 다른 사람들 레포, 아티클통해서 진짜 실무에서 꽤 많은 트래픽과 데이터 처리를 하는 분산 시스템 디자인을 잘 적용한 좋은 프로젝트도 많고 이런거 테스트 자동화잘하고 로깅시스템 연동하고 성능테스트 분석같은거 해보고 배포파이프라인까지 해보면 투박해도 거의 대부분회사들이 아주 좋아할겁니다.
