2년 넘게 정신과 약물치료중입니다. 얼마전에 새로 생긴 병원으로 옮겼는데 전자약(?) 치료를 권하시던데 그게 뭔가했더니 tDCS 같습니다. 약물치료로는 일상이 너무 버거워서 뭐라도 해야겠다는 마음은 들지만 막상 너무 정보가 없네요. 이게 얼마나 효과가 있는지 약물치료와는 어떤 차이가 있는지 간단하게라도 알려주시면 정말 고맙겠습니다. tDCS는 개인적인 경험은 없고, 비슷한 기전의 TMS는 좀 경험해 봤는데, 일부 케이스에서는 놀라울 정도의 호전이 있었고 어떤 경우에는 거의 효과가 없었습니다. 투약치료의 경우 대부분의 사람들에게 일정 스펙트럼 안에서 효과가 있다면 이런 계열의 치료는 듣거나 혹은 안 듣거나의 느낌이 좀더 있었던 편입니다.
사이비 치료이거나 안전성에 문제가 있거나 한 정도는 아닌 걸로 보이고, 그렇다고 표준 치료방법에 편입될 정도로 확고하고 풍부하게 근거가 확립된 편은 아닙니다. 비용 지출에 문제가 없고 투약치료의 한계를 느끼고 있다면 안해볼 이유는 딱히 없지 않을까 싶네요.
