제 개인 정보를 밝혀야 더 정확한 조언을 얻을 수 있을 것 같아서 익명으로 글 올립니다. 1. 학부 기록 캐나다에서 4~5등정도 하는 대학교(학부)를 2016년에 졸업했습니다. 전공은 기계공학이고 GPA 평균 3.8/4.0으로 졸업했습니다. 학부때 연구 관련 경험은 전무하고, 그 당시에는 교수님 몇몇분을 '조금' 알긴 했지만, 지금은 저를 잊으셨을 확률이 99% 입니다. 2. 고용 경험 & 대학원 지원 졸업하고 3년정도 관련 직종을 못 찾아서 알바를 전전하다가 2019년부터 공학 관련일을 시작했습니다. 현재 직장에서 대학원 진학에 도움을 주는 프로그램이 2가지정도 있는데 관심이 생겼습니다. A옵션: 직장에서 스폰서한 연구 분야/대학교에서 공부 하는 것 입니다. 장점 - 직장 밖 추천서가 필요하지 않고, 직장안 추천서와 인사고과로 지원할 수 있습니다. 단점 - 이 경우 제가 원하는 분야를 만날 확률이 낮습니다. B옵션: 제가 전액 장학금을 받고 대학원에 들어가게 되면, 제가 선택학 연구 분야/대학교에서 공부 하는 것 입니다. 장점 - 제가 원하는 대학교에서, 원하는 분야의 공부를 할 수 있습니다. 단점 - 지금 상황에선 지원 난이도가 높습니다. 3. 질문 가능하면 B옵션으로 공부하고 싶어서 질문 드립니다. 대학교때도 연구 관련 경험이 없고, 지금 하는 일도 연구와는 거리가 멉니다. 대학교 졸업한지도 6년이 넘어가구요. 대학원 전액 장학금 신청에는 거의 Academic 추천서가 필요한것 같더라구요. 지금 제 상황에서 연구 관련 추천서를 받을 만한 방법이 있을지 궁금합니다. 혹시 필요하다면 지금부터 1년정도 직장을 더 다니면서, 주말이든 일 끝나고든 연구 관련 경험을 좀 쌓고, 내년에 지원하는 방법도 생각하고 있습니다. 꼭 해외쪽 경험이 아니더라도, 직장 다니시다가 대학원을 가시게된 도움될만한 경험이 있다면 공유 부탁드려봅니다.. 캐나다 대학교에서 그 GPA면 정말 우수한 학생이셨단 소리인데 오피스아워에 잘 찾아뵈었던 분이라면 기억이 나지않고 되살아나지 않더라도 약속잡고 레터하나쯤은 요청드릴 수 있지 않을까요? 그런 관계를 과거에 가졌던 교수님들이 다 추천서가 지원하고자하는 필드와 좀 떨어져서 고민이신가요?
