| Subject | 인터넷 속도 - 라우터를 하나 늘렸더니 속도가 줄었어요 |
 잇섭의 10기가 인터넷 속도 측정 영상을 보면서 제 인터넷 속도도 측정을 해보았습니다. (저는 KT 500Mbps회선을 사용하고 있습니다.) 저희 PC회선은 기본이 2번 경우로 세팅되어 있습니다. KT에서 준 유선 라우터에 무선 라우터용도로 구매한 IPTIME A1004NS를 연결하고 PC를 IPTIME에 연결해서 사용하고 있습니다. PC에 ftp서버를 셋팅해놓고 IPTIME의 ddns기능 + 포트포워딩을 활용해서 어디서나 집에있는 자료들을 엑세스할수 있게 하기 위해서죠 (덕분에 PC를 24시간 켜놓고 삽니다) 제 의문은 무엇이냐면, 1번 경우로 해놓고 인터넷 속도 측정을 할때 2번 경우로 해놓고 인터넷 속도 측정을 할때 차이가 꽤 많이 난다는 겁니다. 2번 경우로 할때는 다운 288Mbps, 업 465Mbps 이 나오는데 1번 경우로 할때는 다운 497Mbps, 업 498Mbps 이렇습니다. (두 경우 모두 http://beta.benchbee.co.kr/home.asp 에서 측정했습니다.) .... 왜이러지 했다가 혹시 cableA에 문제가 있는건가 해서 랜선 Cat 7.짜리로 교환해보았습니다만 별 차이가 없습니다. IPTIME A1004NS의 사양에 보면, 해당 제품은 유선 회선의 경우 1Gbps까지 지원한다고 되어 있고 업 속도는 정상적으로 500가까이 나오는것 같은데 다운 속도는 왜 그런가.... 음.... 1번경우는 500가까이 나오는 다운 속도가 2번경우가 되면 300대로 떨어지는 이런 현상을 어떻게 고칠수 있을까요? 공유기를 (스위칭 허브로 쓰는 것이 아니라)공유기로 쓰면 직결(?)보다 속도가 어느 정도 떨어지는 것은 어쩔 수 없는 것 같습니다. 비싼 최신 제품을 쓰면 그게 조금 덜 떨어지는 것 같기는 합니다.
