안녕하세요. 오래 전 치료했던 어금니에 충치가 생겨 크라운을 하게 되었습니다 오늘 치아를 갈아서 본을 떴고, 다음주에 크라운을 끼우기로 하였는데요. 저는 금으로 크라운을 할 줄 알았는데, 병원에서 요즘엔 지르코니아로 많이 한다고 하시면서 열전도성이 낮아 자극이 덜하고, 부식도 덜 된다고 권유하셨습니다. 그래서 그렇게 진행을 했는데... 진료가 끝나고 찾아보니 지르코니아에 단점이 많더라고요. 단단해서 마주치는 치아가 더 쉽게 닳고 특히 이갈이에는 더 안 좋다고 하고... (제가 이갈이가 심한 편입니다) 게다가 금에 비해 치아 삭제량이 많고 특히 신경치료를 안한 경우에는 금이 낫다는 글을 보았습니다. 치아 삭제량이 많아서 나중에 신경치료를 해야 할 가능성이 높다고요... (사실인지 아닌지 확실히 모르지만 이런 얘기를 보니 너무 속상합니다...) 치과에 전화를 하니 이가 닳는 건 금과 큰 차이가 없지만 원하면 내일 오전까지는 금으로 변경이 가능하다는 답변을 받았습니다. 이를 이미 많이 갈아버렸으니 그냥 지르코니아로 진행을 할지, 아니면 그래도 이가 덜 닳는 것 같은 금으로 바꿀지 고민이 되네요.
