안녕하세요 회원님들!!! 저는 서울 H대학의 건설환경공학과에 재학중인 시뮬라시옹입니다. (대학을 밝힌 이유는 저희 대학 변리사반이 좋은 성적을 내고 있는 점을 고려해주시길 바래서입니다.) 다름이 아니라 2학년 2학기가 절반 이상 지난 지금. 진로에 대한 고민을 하고 있는데요. 개인적으로는 피부질환으로 인해 군면제를 받은 상황이라, 같은 동성 동기들에 비해 2년정도 여유가 생겼습니다. 그래서 내년 3학년 1학기까지 재학하고, 2학기에 휴학을 할 예정입니다. 휴학하는 동안에 무엇을 할 것인가? 에 대해서 고민하려면 어느정도 취업에 대해 미리 고민을 해봐야할 것 같아서 아직은 잘 모르지만 들려오는 것에 의하면 저희 과의 70%는 공기업(한국도로공사,수자원공사등)에 취업하고 일부는 대기업(삼성물산,현대건설,대림건설,포스코건설등)으로 가고 나머지가 기술직행정고시(5급사무관)를 보거나 7급 공무원을 준비중 혹은 대학원 진학이라고 합니다. 공기업 혹은 대기업을 가기 위해서는 4학년 1학기에 대다수가 취득하는 토목기사(한국산업인력공단)와 한국사능력시험 2급이상, 토익 750점이상, 학점은..평균적으로 3.5이상 그 외 각 기업별 직무적성고사와 면접인것 같습니다. 그래서 이부분은 3학년 2학기에 휴학하고 준비하는 것보다는 이번 방학때 토익과 한국사능력시험을 준비하고, 학업에 정진한뒤 복학하면서 준비를 시작하면 될 것 같아 일단 미뤄두었습니다. 휴학하고나서라면 준비할 수 있는 것이 2가지 정도로 보이는데 1.기술직행정고시(5급사무관)과 2.변리사 자격입니다. 원래는 1번 진로를 생각 중에 있었는데요.부모님,친누나등 가족과 이야기하면서 내 적성에 맞는 직업이 가장 중요하다 생각했고 여러 검사도 거쳐보고 개인적으로 생각해보니 변리사도 저와 잘 맞아보이더라구요.(INTJ,새아이디어내기좋아함,자율성,소득 등) 그래서 전공을 살리면서 변리사를 준비해보면 어떨까? 즉 우선 1~2년가량 휴학하면서 변리사반을 준비해서 입반하고 시험을 치뤄서 만약 자격증 취득에 성공한다면! 자격증을 소유한채로 다시 복학하여 일반 대기업 혹은 공기업 취업 -> 관련 실무하며 경력도 쌓고 인맥도 만들어서 추후 사무소 개업 혹은 기업 내 변리업무 담당. 실패시 -> 복학후 공기업 OR 대기업 루트. 를 생각해보았습니다. 한마디로 전 변리사로 바로 취업(전공분야외 기계분야등)하는게 아니라 자격증만 취득 후 전공분야를 살려서 훗날 건축건설전문 변리사가 되려는 겁니다. 그.런.데... 관련 분야 전망을 찾아보니 정말 자료가 거의 없더군요. https://www.mk.co.kr/news/society/view/2020/01/21438/ 이 기사에 나온 분 정도가 전부이며 아주 가끔 대기업소속 기술연구소에서 채용공고가 뜰 뿐 건설분야에서 변리사에 대한 수요가 거의 없어 보였습니다.하이브레인 넷 같은 곳의 의견을 찾아보니 아무래도 건설분야는 신기술보다는 효율이 낮더라도 검증된 안전한 기술(마치 NASA의 우주 컴퓨터가 i386과 같은 매우 낮은성능 그러나 보장되고 방사능에 안전한 것을 사용하듯)을 사용하려는 경향때문에 그런 것 같다라고 하더라구요. 그렇지만 개인적으로는 최근에 스마트 건설관리라던가 GTX같은 대심도 건설, 혹은 초고층 건설의 경우 기존 건설 기술 외에 신기술이 다수 적용되는 것으로 알고 있어서 건설분야에도 4차산업혁명(..) 이 시작되고 있어서 앞으로 특허,상표 관련 수요 및 분쟁수요가 있을 것 같고 그에 비해 관련 지식을 지닌 변리사의 수는 매우적어서 희소성이 있다 생각이 드는데 어떻게 보시나요? 아무래도 더 정확한 답은 지도교수님이나 변리사반 등에 문의하거나 수소문해서 동문 분중에 찾아뵙는 것도 좋아보이는데 일단 홍차넷 여러분에게도 여쭤보고 싶습니다.
