http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=001&oid=020&aid=0003072416 항상, 변화가 있다면 그에 따라 이득을 보는 사람이 있는가하면, 손해를 보는 사람도 있기 마련이죠 그런데, 이건 뭔가 잘못된 방향으로 가고 있다는 생각이 드네요 특목고 중에서 과학고 출신계통 분들이 얼마나 계실지 모르겠지만, 각 지방 교육청에서 과학고 수준만큼의 커리큘럼을 일반고에 지원할 수도, 그리고 일반 학교에서는 따라갈 수도 없는게 현실입니다. 줘도 소화 할 수 있는 학생에게 주겠다는거죠. 지금이야 조기졸업에 대한 조건이 까다로워져서 상대적으로 3년채우고 졸업하는 상황이라지만, 2년이 안되는 1년 반정도 사이에 일반고 학생과 과학고 학생들의 수준 격차는 4년~5년 이상의 격차가 벌어집니다. 그렇다면, 이걸 매꿔야할까요? 일반고 진학하는 학생도 똑같이 대해줘야한다고 생각하신다면 정교한 커리큘럼안에서 우수한 교육을 받아야할 학생들에게 똥을 던져주는겁니다. 이 추세로 간다면 장기적으로 고급 인적 자원에 대한 질적 하락이 상당해질겁니다. 문제 많다던 과학고, 근데 썩어도 준치에요. 특목고, 자사고 없앤다고 교육에서 큰 문제가 생긴다고 생각하지는 않습니다.
교육이라는 것은 어차피 최상위권은 잘놈잘이라는 것이 결국 증명되고 있으니까요.
특목고, 자사고가 없어지면 그 역할을 대학들이 영재캠프라든지 선수과목이수같은 미국식 사업으로 그 수요을 매꿀것이라고 봅니다.
(물론 사교육도....)
문제는 경제적으로 어려워서 능력은 있지만 상위권의 교육을 받지 못하는 경우인데,
이것에 대한 대책이 가장 중요하다고 보구요.
이것도 EBS가 다 해결할 수 있다고 주장하면 할말이 없....
