https://www.jiji.com/jc/article?k=2020120300215&g=pol 2달 전에 보도된 일본 지지통신 기사입니다. 원문이라 간단하게 내용을 소개하면, 1. 영국은 2030년에 가솔린차, 2035년에 하이브리드차 판매금지, 미국은 2035년에 가솔린차 판매금지, 중국은 2035년까지 신재생에너지차 비율 50% 이상으로, 프랑스는 2040년에 가솔린차 판매금지를 할 예정 2. 일본은 30년대 전반까지 가솔린 전용차는 판매금지하고, EV(전기)/HV(하이브리드)/FCV(수소)만 국내에서 판매하도록 할 예정 3. 일본 산업계에 대한 충격을 고려해서 완전 EV 시프트가 아닌 하이브리드를 포함하여 가솔린 전용차만 판매금지하는 방향으로 할 계획 2달이나 된 기사를 소개한 이유는, 최근에 여기저기서 전기차 이야기가 많이 들리면서 한번쯤 이야기를 해볼 필요가 있다고 생각해서였습니다. 지금 전기차에 대해서는 긍정론과 부정론이 대립을 하고 있는데, 위의 주요 선진국들의 가솔린차 추방계획을 보면 결국 전기차로의 시프트는 정해진 미래이고, 기존의 내연기관차는 시한부 선고를 받았다고 생각하면 될 것 같습니다. 그 시프트가 완료되는 시점이 언제인지만 문제가 되는 것이고, 결국에는 가솔린 차가 주위에서 사라지는 것은 정해진 미래라고 보는게 맞을 것 같습니다. 물론 지금 당장 신차를 뽑는 입장에서는 가솔린 차를 사도 크게 문제는 안 되겠지만, 주식투자를 한다거나 취직/이직 계획을 세운다면 지금이 100년에 한번 있을까 말까한 산업계의 대전환이라는 점을 고려하지 않으면 안될 것 같습니다.
