이야기하기 전에 최대한 스포일러는 피하려 노력은 하겠습니다만, 굳이 피하진 않겠습니다. 이 영화는 개봉되기 전부터 정말 많은 관심을 받았습니다. 배우의 연기나 작품의 완성도도 주목 받았지만, 가장 많이 화제가 된 건 다른 쪽이라 봐요. 조커란 캐릭터에 영향을 받은 광기 어린 범죄가 일어나지 않겠냐는 우려가 가장 많았죠. 그런데 막상 직접 보고 나니까 드는 생각은 과하게 우려를 표했던 사람들은 나와 같은 영화를 본 게 맞는가 싶은 생각이었습니다. 물론 누군가는 사고를 칠 수도 있겠죠. 영화 히트를 보고 총기 강도를 계획했다는 이야기도 있었던 것처럼요. 그러나 조커란 영화가 광기 어린 선동으로 범죄를 만들어낼만한 영화인가 대해선 전 전혀 아니라고 봐요. 영화가 던지는 메세지는 확고하고, 배우의 연기로 굉장히 무섭게 느껴지지만 이게 교훈이 될지언정, 문제작이라 할 수 있는가에 대해선 여러번 생각했지만 아닌거 같아요. 영화에 대한 해석으로 제일 많이 나올 이야기가 사회에 대한 비판, 더 직접적으로 말하면 계급에 대한 이야기일텐데 조커가 그게 전부인 건 아니라고 보거든요. 제가 아니더라도 많은 분들이 비슷한 예로 영화 기생충을 언급하실거라고 보는데 그 영화나 조커나 공통적으로는 계급으로 모든걸 재단하진 않았으니까요. 시각적으로는 영화가 가장 잘한 선택은 시대 배경을 과거로 둔 게 적절하지 않았나 싶네요. 복고적인 느낌이 섞이면서 묘하게 매 장면마다 영화가 주는 느낌이 더럽기도 하고, 지긋지긋할 때가 있어요. 마지막으로 제가 조커를 보고 가장 인상적이었던 장면을 하나만 뽑으라면 영화에서 가장 잔인한 장면이 벌어진 다음 장면이에요. 생각하기에 따라선 이 영화의 조커를 아주 다양하게 해석할 수 있겠구나 싶더군요. 조금 더 막 나갔으면 사회적 부작용을 낳을 문제작 소리 들을 뻔 했는데
감독이 선을 잘 지킨 느낌에요 줄타기 잘했음. 뭐 문제작이니 이런 소린 솔직히 말도 안되는 덮어씌우기라고 생각합니다 이게 문제작이면 모든 피카레스크 R-18 영화는 다 문제작 아닐까요. 객관적으로 봤을때 그런 평을 들을 정도의 범죄충동을 일으킬만한 영화는 아닌거 같아요 ㅎ

배우가 연기를 너무 잘해서 스스로 아우라를 내면서 작품이 원래 보여주려고 했던 이상으로 좀 멋있다는 느낌? ㅋㅋㅋ
스포가 될까봐 말하긴 그렇지만
중간에 조커가 단독으로 잡히는 임팩트 있는 한 씬에선
너무 멋있어서 뭔가 내면에 꿈틀하는게 좀 있더라구요.
그때 느꼈습니다 사회적 부작용을 걱정한 사람들이 뭘 느낀지는 알겠다
조금 더 진지빨았으면 졸린 노잼영화 소리 들을 뻔 했고
조금 더 막 나갔으면 사회적 부작용을 낳을 문제작 소리 들을 뻔 했는데
감독이 선을 잘 지킨 느낌에요 줄타기 잘했음. 뭐 문제작이니 이런 소린 솔직히 말도 안되는 덮어씌우기라고 생각합니다 이게 문제작이면 모든 피카레스크 R-18 영화는 다 문제작 아닐까요. 객관적으로 봤을때 그런 평을 들을 정도의 범죄충동을 일으킬만한 영화는 아닌거 같아요 ㅎ
다만 주관적으로는 보다가 중간에 모방범죄를 걱정하는 사람들 생각이 잠깐 이해가 되긴 했어요.
만약 이 작품 조커 연기를 히스레저가 했다 이랬으면 사실 그런 얘기가 안 나왔을거 같은데
