최근 어벤져스 엔드게임을 보려고 기존 영화들을 봤는데.. 배경지식이 전무한 상태에서 닥스, 캡마, 라그나로크, 시빌워, 앤트맨 이런 괴상한 순서로 보게되었다.. 근데 캡아가 영웅인 이유를 하나도 모르겠다. 난 개인적으로 시빌워에서 나온 히어로 등록제를 해야한다고 보는데 캡아는 거기서 등록도 안하고 테러용의자 체포를 막다가 동료들을 탈옥시킨다. 이거 완전 무법자 아닌가? 어벤저스1을 안봐서 거기서 얼마나 활약을 했는지는 모르겠지만.. 뒤에 행적들은 영 아닌 것 같다.. 자기랑 친하다고 살인자를 옹호하다니 악당이잖아?! 히어로 등록제는 원작에서 얼마나 진지하게 다루는지 모르겠고, 이미 식은 떡밥인지도 모르겠지만 내가 보기엔 꽤 생각해볼만한 안건인 것 같다. 그냥 액션 영화에서 진지따지면 지는 건지도 모르겠는데.. 그래도 소시민1의 입장에서 한번 생각하자보자면. 예를 들어 어떤 악당이 위험한 무기를 훔쳐가다가 캡마에게 걸렸다고 치자. 여기서 캡마가 고속도로 추격씬을 찍으며 에너지탄을 악당에게 날렸는데 악당이 피하면서 내 가족이 탄 차량이 맞았다고 생각해보면.. 히어로 등록제에 찬성하게 될 것 같다. 캡마는 분명 민간인 피해가 발생함을 알고 있었을 거다. 저 X기가 가만히 맞아주겠지 하는 안일한 마음으로 에너지탄을 날리진 않았을거라는거다. 그럴거면 가만히 체포되고 말지.. 왜 도망가겠냐.. 여하간 캡마와 우리는 그 상황에 대해 진지하게 고민할 수 있다. 여기서 저 악당과 싸워야하느냐마느냐.. 캡마: "저걸 가져가게 놔두면 어딘가에서 더 큰 피해를 낼 것이다." 나: "그래도 내버려뒀으면 우리 가족은 피해입지 않았을 것이다." 이 딜레마는 열차의 딜레마와 비슷한 구석이 있다. 열차가 고장나서 주행하는데 앞에 10명이 작업을 하고 있다. 그대로 가면 10명이 죽는다. 옆에 길로 선로를 바꾸면 2명이 죽고 멈춘다. 어떻게 할 것인가? (근데 여기서 희생을 당연시하는 건 완전 타노스잖아. 생명체의 반을 죽여서 세상을 구한다. 타노스도 영웅일지도..) 근데 여기서 히어로가 정부기관에 소속되고 긴밀한 연락을 취한다면 악당의 진행방향 도로를 통제하고 거기서 포위망을 구축하여 교전을 유도할 수 있다. 그리고 민간인 피해가 발생한다쳐도 정부의 작전에 따라 진행된 상황에서는 보상을 받을 수도 있고, 히어로는 면책 특권을 가질 수 있다. 물론 캡아는 자신의 자유를 더 소중히 생각했을지도 모르지만 큰 힘에는 큰 책임이 따르는 법이고, 본인의 판단으로 발생한 피해는 본인이 보상해줘야 한다. 아마 얼마 지나지 않아 방패와 수트가 가압류될 것으로 본다.. 바라는 상황은 각 개인이 성장한 배경을 가로질러 선택한 사항이기에 보는사람으로 하여금 더 흥미진진하며, 시빌워의 싸움이 안타깝게 만드는 역할을 했다고 생각합니다.
다만 저는 미국대장 편입니다. 마블 세계관의 영화에서 이미 많은 부분이 국가(정부)가 영웅을 통제하지 못하는, 위협을 제어하지 못하는 모습을 많이 보여줬다고 생각하거든요. 인크레더블 헐크만 봐도 빌런 어보미는 현역군인이죠.
