얼마전 개봉 했었던 영화. 글래스. http://movie.naver.com/movie/bi/mi/review.nhn?code=163826 개인적인 감상리뷰입니다. 잘만든영화, 조금은 불친절하지만 반전이라면 반전을 담은영화, 그리고 어려운영화 평이 크게 매우좋았다와 그저그랬다로 나뉘는 부분에 대해 고민해봤습니다. 1. 우리가 생각하는 영웅이 아니다 영웅, 히어로라고 하면 어떤 캐릭터가 가장 먼저 떠오르시나요??? 토르??? 아이언맨??? 슈퍼맨??? 우리가 지금까지 봐온 영웅들은 화려합니다. 마블과디씨로 대표되는 영웅들은 지구를 넘어 우주단위의 적과 맞서싸우며 레이저빔은 기본이고 애초에 인간이 아닌생물이 많습니다. 장면마다 폭파와 빔이 난무하며 화려한 액션위주의 기존 히어로물과 이번 영화는 매우 차이가 큽니다. 여기서 첫번째 괴리감이 생깁니다. 익숙하지가 않은것이죠. 능력이라곤 쇠창살을 휠 정도의 근력, 모든걸 계획하는 뛰어난두뇌. 영화상에서 보여지는 능력의 차이에 대한 기존 관객들의 영웅이라는 존재에 대한 믿음에 큰 괴리감이 생긴거 같습니다. 익숙하지 않은 볼품없는 영웅들인 샘이죠 코믹북을 안본지 꽤 오래 되었지만 제가 볼때만 해도 굳이 화려하지 않더라도 영웅인 경우가 있었습니다. 다람쥐소녀는 압도적이었을망정 싸우는 장면은 하나도 없고 이겼다는 모습만 보여주기도 했구요. 하지만 영화에서는 어쨋든 관심유발을 위해 터지고 지지고 볶는 화려한 스캐일이 필요한 만큼 현대 히어로물이라 지칭되는 영화들과는 분명 차이가 있는 소박한 영웅인거 같습니다. 마치 슴슴한 평양냉면처럼요. 2. 연속성의 오류 앞선 영화에 대한 설명이 부족합니다. 근세기 히어로물의 정점에 달한 마블의 영화들은 솔직히 전편을 안보더라도 내용을 즐기기에 무리가 없습니다. 퍼스트어벤져를 안봤다고 해서 윈터솔져나 시빌워를 즐길수 없지 않았습니다. 물론 이부분은 캡아가 우리에게 익숙한(미국인시점에서) 영웅이라는것도 한목 하고 있습니다. 문제는 이 영화는 전편과의 거리가 매우 큽니다. 23아이덴티티와는 큰차이가 없으나, 이 영화에서 근본적으로 담고있는 세계관을 말할 언브레이커블과의 격차가 너무 큽니다. 저도 이영화를 보기전에 다시 언브레이커블을 보고와야했으니까요 세계관이 담고 있는것은 결국 믿음이라는 부분이지요. 자신이 특별하다는 믿음. 여기서 더 파생된것을 말하면 스포가 될것같은데, 이런 그런 믿음의 발현이 영웅에 미치는것이 있다란 점에서 전작은 이영화를 보기전 필수 요소가 되어 버렸고, 전작으로 부터의 오랜 기다림이 이영화를 어렵게 이해하기 힘들게 만드는 사유가 되고 있다봅니다. 위의 두가지 사유가 일반 시민의 입장에서 본 이 영화'글래스'를 부정적으로 바라보는 분들의 심리상태가 아닐까 생각합니다. 다만 그럼에도 좋은 작품임에는 틀림 없습니다. 영웅관에 대한 새로운시각, 마치 이글을 쓰는 저 자신마저도 영웅이 될수 있지 않을까하는 자신감을 부여하는, 그런 시각의 변화를 유도하는 영화라고 봅니다. 후속편은 안나왔으면 합니다. 이렇게 3부작으로 끝을 내는것이, 본 영화의 세계관에서 영웅에 대한 의미를 부각시킬수 있는 요소라 생각합니다. 우리모두는 영웅이 될수도 있고, 또 그들의 가족이 될 수 도 있습니다. 한줄평 : 믿는다고 다 해결되는것은 아니나, 안믿으면 어쩔건데.... =============================================================== p.s. 요즘 개봉하는 영화들을 거의 다 보고있습니다. 월도하느니 한편씩 리뷰를 쓰려합니다. 주로 단점위주로 써질거 같아 이런글을 써도 될지 모르겠습니다. 글이 불편하신분, 수정사항할 부분 등 말씀해 주시면 반영하겠습니다. =============================================================== Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 2 |
