내 기억속에 최초의 성소수자 캐릭터가 나온 작품은 짱구는 못말려이다. 꼬꼬마시절 다니던 동네책방. 가끔가다 짱구는 못말려에 붙어있는 19세딱지를 볼때마다 심쿵했던게 생각난다. 어릴적에 19세는 나쁜거라는 인식하에 몇권몇권 건너뛰고 빌려봤던거 같다. 곁다리로 유유백서 마지막권만 19세 딱지가붙어 한참 뒤에나 봤던 기억이..보수적인 나;; 짱구는 못말려를 보다 보면 수염과 다리털이 듬성듬성나있고 여자옷을 입은 캐릭터들이 나오곤했다. 남잔데 여자인 캐릭터. 그때는 게이가 아니라 호모라는 말로 나왔던걸로 기억한다. 어릴적에는 그냥 웃겼다. ㅋㅋㅋ아니 얘는 남잔데 여자옷입고 여자처럼 행동하네? 그냥 웃긴 캐릭터였다. 아 이런 남잔데 여자처럼 하고 다니는 사람을 '호모'라고 부르는구나. 짱구를 볼때 봤던건지 아니면 후에 본건지 흐릿한 기억이다. 시트콤 남자셋여자셋을 재밌게 봤었다. 여기에는 쁘아송, 홍석천이 연기한 캐릭터가 있다. 남자지만 여성스런 말투와 여성스러운 행동을하는 캐릭터였다. 당시에는 재밌는 캐릭터라는 생각이었다. 뭐 그때는 캐릭터=연기자란 인식이였지만...아마 짱구에서 나온 캐릭터를 봤던것과 비슷한 느낌이였던거 같다. 그냥 웃겼다. '아 그래, 이런걸 호모라고 했었지.' 그리고 커밍아웃 사건이 터졌다. 당시 남중에선 조금 여성스러운면만 보여도 홍석천이냐? 이런 말을 하곤 했었다. 아니 생각해보면 그런거 상관없이 그냥 놀릴때는 홍석천이 대세였다. 욕이자 비하의 표현이 사람이름이 되어버렸었다. 홍석천이냐? 홍석천새끼. 호모란 말도 함께 쓰였다. 남자가 여자처럼 행동하는 사람. 남자가 남자를 좋아하는 사람은 호모라고 하는구나. 그리고 호모는 욕설처럼 쓰였다. 호모냐? 호모새끼. 그때 당시 동생이 빌려오던 '아름다운그대에게'는 남자학교에 다니는 내게 이해할 수 없고 재미도 없게 느꼈던 만화였다. 각종 순정만화를 재밌게 보던 나였지만 별 재미를 못느꼈던거 같다. 아니 이런 남자놈들 관계가 어딨어? 오히려 짜증이 났다. 남장한 여자 주인공을 좋아하고 서로 싸우다니....아니 이런 호모새끼들을 봤나. 얼마지나지 않아 이번에는 하리수란 사람이 나왔다. 남잔데 여자같이 행동하다 못해 여자로 성전환수술까지 한사람. 아 이사람은 호모구나. 아니라고? 트랜스젠더라고? 그게 그거아냐? 여튼 그렇다는데 뭐 그게 그거지 이상한 놈들. 학교에서는 트랜스젠더냐? 리수냐?라는 말이 유행하기시작했다. 아무렇지 않게 얼레리 꼴레리하듯, 석천이냐? 리수냐?는 재밌는 유행이었다. 혹은 재밌는 욕이었다. 중학생 까까머리 사이에서야 둘다 남잔데 여자처럼 구는 이상한, 그게 그거인, 놀리는 대명사였다. 그래도 방송에서 대우는 홍석천때와는 좀 달랐던거 같다. 이게 외모에 차이에서 온건지, 아니면 첫 충격 이후 그러한것에 한번은 접해본 경험 차이에서 온 시대 변화 덕이였는지 몰라도, 다르긴 달랐던거 같다. 예전 홍석천은 그런 발표후 방송에서 찾아 보기 힘들어졌다면 하리수는 오히려 방송에서 보기 쉬웠다. 예능 여기저기에서도 자주 볼 수 있었다. 사람들도 그때보다는 잘 받아들이는것 같았다. 동물원 원숭이 대하듯 하는거였는지 모르겠지만 적어도 내가봤을때는, 홍석천때에 비해 상대적으로 호의적이였던거 같다. 어디까지나 방송에서 상대적이였던거긴했다. 우리들의 홍석천이냐?는 리수냐?로 바뀌었을뿐이었다. 여전히 이상한 존재. 남잔데 여자같이 행동하는 그런 이상한 존재들이었다. 한참 시간이 지나고 하리수가 방송에서도 잘안보이게 되었다. 어느샌가 호모란말은 안쓰이고 게이란말이 쓰이고, 트랜스젠더와 게이는 다르다르니 젠더라는 말이 이슈가되기도했다. 그렇지만 내게는 별 관심도 없는 다른세께의 이야기들이었다. 학창시절 만화책이나 판타지 소설, 게임 하거나 보는 마이너한 취미라 여기저기 좋은 시선을 못받았다. 그러다보니 내 취향이 이해받으려면 다른사람 취향도 이해해줘야지하는 그런 타산적인 계산에서 나온 타협을 하게되었다. 동생이 팬픽과 bl 만화를 보든, 내가 여자들이 헐벗고 나오는 만화를 보든 취향이니까 서로 건드리지 말자는 묵시적 합의? 커피를 마시고 빽을 사든, 게임을하고 게임을 사든, 개인이 하는 일에 서로 뭐라하지말고 갈길가자. 이러다보니 호모 아니 이제는 게이와 트랜스젠더는 내게 취향이 다른 존재가 되었다. 지들이 남자가 좋은갑지. 뭐라 말구 갈길 가자구. 취향의 영역이 되어버린 이상 소프트한 BL코드 정도는 이제 별 아무렇지 않게 볼 수 있었다. 서양골동 양과자점이라거나 어둠의 후예, 이마이치코의 단편들 등등....이런 것들도 아 취향이니까 하고 넘어 갈수 있었다. 지금와 생각해보면 게이에대한 취향이해라기 보다는 BL에대한 취향이해에 가까웠던거 같긴하다. 여하튼.... 곁다리로 당시 인터넷에서는 미트스핀이란게 유행했었던 기억이 난다. 사실 난 별로 낚시당한 기억이 안난다. 오히려 스동겔에서 무슨 영상만 보면 하나둘셋 KTF화이팅이 나왔던 낚시는 엄청 당했는데....당시 신음태그였나 이런것들과 함께 낚시라는게 참 유행했던거 같다. 어쨋든 잉여롭게 스타경기를 즐겨보던 시절이었다. 어릴적부터 만화책을 봐와서 친해진 동네 책방 아주머니의 부탁으로 알바하게되었다. 당시에도 최저 시급을 맞추려면 시간당 6권의 만화를 봐야했었지만 했었다. 6권을 채우기 위해 열심히 이런저런 가릴거 없이 만화책을 봤다. 그러던중 남자도여자도아닌 성 Is를 보게되었다. 학교에서 친구가 가져와 돌려보고했던 명작 IS와 똑같은 제목이라 호기심에 봤었다. 정신없이 보고 며칠간 꽤 많은 생각을 하게됐었다. 물론 이건 성소수자 이야기와는 살짝 방향이 다르지만, 여튼 나는 보면서 성소수자에 대해서도 생각하게 되었다. 아 트랜스젠더와 게이는 다른거구나. 호모를, 홍석천을, 하리수, 게이를, 트랜스젠더를 접하고도 한참 지나서야 깨닫게 됬었다. 나는 참 관심이 없었구나. 이것 저것 찾아보게되었다. 게이는 홍석천이 아니었다. 게이는 사람 성격 말투와는 전혀 상관 없구나. 게이라고 다 빡빡머리에 여성스러운 말투, 행동, 패셔너블한 옷차림 혹은가죽으로된 옷을 입는게 아니구나. 저런 것들은 별로 상관 없는거구나. 게이는 그냥 게이구나. 하리수와 홍석천은 별 관계 없는거였구나. 트랜스젠더는 게이와는 다른 차원의 문제구나. 별 관계도 없는 것을 연관시켜 생각했구나. 고작 저 별것도 아닌것을 깨닫는데 한 세월이 걸렸다. 뭐지하고 인터넷 글 몇개 읽어보는것만으로 게이가 뭔지 알게되었지만, 그렇게 알아보려하지도 않았었다. 그냥 내게 게이는 홍석천이고, 하리수 같은 사람들이었다. 남자가 남자 좋아하는것이라는 말을 분명 들었음에도, 여성이 남성으로 태어났다는 말을 분명 들었음에도 나는 흘려들었었다. 그리고 그것은 취향이 아니란 말도 듣게되었다. 한 턱을 넘어서인지 이것은 쉽게 받아들여졌다. 어렵지도 않았었다. 만약 나에게 누군가 여성을 사랑하지 말라 남성을 사랑하라고하면, 그것은 가능할까? 나는 아니다. 게이들에게 여성을 사랑하라고, 레즈비언들에게 남성을 사랑하라고 강요할 수 있고 그들은 그럴 수 있을까? 얼마전 우연히(진짜 순수한 마음으로 다른거 검색하다) 해외 인터넷 사이트를 보게 되었다. 소라넷이 터지고 거기서 나왔을법한 글들이 넘치는 그곳에는 게이들도 존재하고 있었다. 그들의 야동들도 있었다. 예전 미트스핀을 접할때와는 조금 다른 생각이 들었다. 그들도 나처럼 성욕이 있고 섹스를 하고 싶어하는구나하는 생각이 들었다. 내가 사랑하는 것처럼 그들도 사랑하는구나. 내가 성욕이 있든, 그들도 성욕이 있구나. 내가 친구들과 카츠라 마사카즈 I''S를 돌려봤듯 그들도 그런걸 보는거구나. 내가 좋아하는 여자와 섹스를 하듯, 남자를 좋아하는 남자는 남자와 섹스하고, 여자를 좋아하는 여자는 여자와 섹스하는구나. 물론 안 할수도 있고. 둘다 좋아할수도 있고. 섹스하는게 이상한건 아니지 않은가. 몸이 좋을 수도, 나쁠수도, 머리가 길수도, 짧거나 대머리일수도, 요리를 잘할수도, 요리를 못할수도 있고, 옷을 잘입을 수도, 못입을 수도, 화장을 할수도 안할수도, 스타를 잘할수도 못할수도, 롤을 잘할수도 못할수도, 유쾌할수도, 우울할수도, 손톱이 짧을수도 길수도, 화장을 할수도 안할수도, 홍차넷을 할수도 안할수도, 성격이 좋을 수도 아닐수도, 가위를 낼수도 바위를 낼수도 빠를 낼수도, 부먹일수도 찍먹일수도, 민주당지지자일수도 새누리당지지자일수도 국민의당지지자일수도 바른정당지지자일수도 정의당지지자일수도....이런건 그들이 게이이건 레즈이건 트랜스젠더이건 성소수자인것과 별 상관 없구나. 뭐 그들 나름의 선호와 유행이야 있겠지만 나처럼 유행에 뒤떨어지는 사람도 있을테고... 쓰고 읽다보니 다시한번 반성하게된다. 아무렇지 않게 했던 그 말들이 사실은 아무렇지 않은게 아니였는데... 또한 어쩌면 학창시절 내 주변에 그런 사람이 있지 않았을까 생각하면 너무나 후회된다. ps.또다시 중구난방에 길어졌고, 처음엔 의욕적이였으나 중간가면 귀차니즘이... 옛날 생각 자꾸하면 늙은거라던데 어째 쓴 글이 죄다... 아직 모르는게 많습니다 ㅜ Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 7 이 게시판에 등록된 하트필드님의 최근 게시물

제가 좋아했던 남자사람은 학교다닐때는 저를 많이 부담스러워했고(동성이 너무 잘해주니까 이상하게 생각한거 같아요) 저도 그래서 힘들었었는데 성인이 되어서는 무슨 심경의 변화가 있었는지 마음을 열더군요. 언젠가 번화가를 걷다가 어째서인지 기운이 없던 저에게 괜찮아, 하면서 제 손을 잡았는데, 그순간 거리에 있던 사람들 시선이 확 집중되는게 느껴졌어요 ㅋ 하나도 안쪽팔렸습니다. 그때만큼 기뻤던 적은 그 이후로 웬만한 여자를 만날때도 드물었던거 같아요. 사실 그 친구랑 친해지기까지의 험난한 과정을 생각하면 여자를 사귀는건 너무 쉽게 느껴질 정도에요.. 생각해 보세요.. 아무리 냉담한 여자라도 그녀에게 다가서는게 남자가 남자를 좋아하게 만들어야 하는 일보다 어려울 리가 있겠습니까... ㅋ

버스나 전철에서, 혹은 길을 걷다가, 뭐 이런저런 장소에서 괜찮은 남자를 보게 되면 말을 걸어 보거나 전화번호를 받아보고 싶을 때가 대략 이년에 한번정도 있어요. 20대때부터 계산하면 최소 7,8명은 있었다는 얘기죠. 그런데 시도를 할 엄두가 안나죠 ㅋㅋ 똑같이 가능성이 적어도 여자쪽이 훨씬 편하죠 ㅋ 그리고 전 역시 여자가 좋은데 굳이 모험을 할 필요도 없겠고..
그 괜찮은 남자라는게 기준이 좀 묘합니다. 물론 어느정도 외모를 보지만 무조건 잘생긴 사람은 아니고, 그렇다고 무조건 여자처럼 이쁘장한 사람도 아닌, 뭔가 제가 끌리는 특정 분위기가 있어요. 예를 들자면 STX신인 시절 이신형 같은 스타일...ㅋ 스2로 넘어가서의 이신형은 거기서 멀어졌습니다... ㅋㅋ
