대조영 사실 대조영을 추천할까말까했다. 일단 정통사극과는 다소..아니 거리가 꽤 많이 멀다. 태조왕건하고 유사하긴 하지만 최소한의 기록이 남아 역사적 사실을 어느정도 따라갈 수 있었던 태조왕건조차 지금에와서 보면 환빠논란을 피해갈 수 없는 드라마일 텐데 대조영은 그보다 더 심할 수밖에 없다. 역사적 기록 자체가 지극히 적고 제한적인 정보만을 갖고 작가가 상상력을 보태야했기때문이다. 아예 이 드라마는 환빠논란보다는 좀비논란이 더 심했던 드라마이기도 하다. 드라마상에선 막판까지 살아남은 설인귀가 사실 훨씬 전에 죽은 인물이고 발해건국 이전에 이미 죽어야할 걸사비우가 끝까지 살아남는 등 조금이나마 남아있는 사료들마저 작가의 입맛대로 바뀌었기때문이다. (그와 반대되는 것은 이해고가 있다. 대조영에게 패배했음에도 불구하고 측천무후의 신임을 받고 있었기때문에 끝까지 살아남았고 측천무후가 죽은 뒤에도 끝까지 살아남아 천수를 누린 인물이지만 이 드라마에선 결국 대조영에게 패배해 죽는 결말을 맞는다. 라이벌 구도로 해놓다보니 벌어진 일..) 그렇다면 이 드라마가 광개토태왕이나 근초고왕 천추태후와는 달리 높은 시청률과 역사적 고증문제를 겪었음에도 불구하고 사람들로부터 재미면에서 호평을 받은 이유는 무엇일까? 간단히 말해 이 드라마는 최소한의 양심은 있어서 개연성은 어느정도 지켜주었고 (중후반 이후) 대조영과 엮이지만 않는다면 선악역 가리지 않고 인물의 캐릭터성은 충분히 지켜주었기때문이다. (즉 캐붕이 적은 편이었다.) 대표적으로 극초반을 이끈 연개소문, 양만춘, 보장왕의 고구려 선역집단과 부기원을 필두로 한 고구려 악역집단이 있따. 이들은 서로 대립하지만 적어도 고구려멸망이전까진 편의상 부기원은 악역이라고 했지만 고구려를 위한다는 생각은 똑같았다 방법론의 차이였을 뿐 (하지만 멸망 이후 찌질이 악역으로 돌변한다) 당나라쪽에서는 이적의 캐릭터는 연개소문 양만춘에게 번번히 패배하긴 하지만 지속적으로 고구려를 괴롭히는 무게감 있는 악역이었으며 설인귀는 그 캐릭터 자체가 대단히 매력적이었다. 이는 고구려와 당나라에 국한 된 것이 아니라 그 시대 중요한 민족중 하나인 거란족 등장인물들도 마찬가지였다. 대표적으로 이해고라던가 이 드라마의 또 하나의 특징이라면 주인공이 성장형 혹은 고통형 주인공이라는 데 있다. (..) 주인공은 이미 최수종이 등장한 그 시점부터 완전체에 가까운 캐릭터였다. 다만 조금씩 모자른 부분이 있었고 이를 양만춘 및 연개소문등과 함께 하면서 점점 키워나가 고구려멸망이후로는 대조영의 능력치는 고구려 출신 인물중 최고에 다다르게 된다. 여기까지만 보면 뭐야 너무 금방 성장한거 같은데?라고 할 수 있지만 시대의 특성상 고구려 멸망 -> 발해건국까지는 30년의 세월이 걸렸고 드라마에서 그 세월은 대조영이 고통받는 세월과 같아서 여타 다른 사극들과는 비교를 불허할 정도로 엄청난 고통을 받아야만 했다(..) 아예 노예로 팔려가 죽을뻔 한적도 있었고 전신마비에 가까운 고통을 받기도 했다. 주인공인데 전쟁이나 전투에서 지는 건 둘쨰치고 생사를 넘나드는 일들이 비일비재했다는 소리..-_-aa 이러한 모습들은 천추태후 - 근초고왕 - 광개토태왕으로 이어지는 슈퍼울트라메가톤급 블록버스터 사극들에선 보여주지 않는 모습들로 그냥 주인공이 우라!하면 이기는거고 아무리 위기가 와도 우어어어! 하면 해결되고 주인공은 절대선이며 주인공에게 개기면 개찌질이악역일 뿐! 이라는 드라마와는 달랐다. 이렇게만 보면 대조영은 그저 보기 좋은 드라마같다. 뭐 일단 재미로만 따진다면 충분히 좋은 드라마이다. 하지만 비판점이 없는 건 아니다. 일단 첫째로 위에 장점으로 설명한 캐릭터성의 문제 이는 고구려가 멸망하고나서 그때까지 악역이긴 하지만 입체적인 모습을 보여주던 부기원이 점차 찌질한 악역으로 변해가기 시작하더니 주인공이 고통받는 것과 별개로 주인공과 맞붙는 악역캐릭터들이 굉장히 단순해지기 시작한다. 그저 대조영에 대한 원한만으로 움직이는 캐릭터들이 되어버린 것. 그나마 이것에서 자유로운 건 설인귀밖에 없었다. 이해고의 경우 애초에 태생부터가 대조영과 숙적이자 연적 그리고 아버지대에서부터 이어지던 악역으로 똘똘뭉친 관계여서 별 수 없었다지만 나머지는..(특히 이적의 조카라는 설정으로 나온 가상인물 이문은 안습 그자체다..) 둘째로 위에 잠깐 설명한 좀비물이 된 것.. 이는 순전히 드라마의 재미를 위해 기록된 사실들을 바꿔버린 것 대조영을 일반 사극으로 본다면 이는 치명적인 문제점이며 대조영을 그 시대를 빌린 퓨전사극으로 본다면 드라마적 요소라 볼 수 있는 데 일단 전자라고 염두해두고 이어 쓰도록 한다. 설인귀의 경우 대조영과의 연배차이도 나는 데다 무엇보다 발해를 세우기 한참전에 죽었어야할 인물임에도 불구하고 대조영이 발해건국을 할떄까지 살아있고 그떄가지 당나라를 걱정하면서 이문을 보채고 있다..(..) 거기다 대조영과 천문령전투를 통해 일대 격전을 벌인 이해고의 경우 이 전투에서 패배했지만 그럼에도 측천무후의 비호아래 천수를 누리며 살았음에도 불구하고 주인공의 일생일대의 라이벌이라는 이유로 대조영에게 죽어야했다. (애초에 대조영과 싸우기 위해 당나라의 병사를 갖고 갈때 그 병사들을 통해 대조영이 하고자하는 일을 자기가 대신하려했다는 점에서부터...) 이건 당나라측만이 아니라 고구려측 인물들도 마찬가자인데 걸사비우의 경우 애시당초 실제 역사에서는 말갈을 이끄는 수장중 한 사람으로 연배로 보나 경력으로보나 대조영의 아버지인 대중상과 비견되는 인물이었다. 그럼에도 불구하고 드라마에서 걸사비우는 대조영의 의형제 아니 동생이 되었고(..) 끝내 마지막까지 살아남아 발해의 대장군이 되어버렸다..(..) * 실제 측천무후는 영주땅에서 거란과 고구려유민들이 말썽을 부릴때 대중상과 걸사비우에게 각각 따로 왕으로 책봉하면서 이간질을 획책했을 정도인데.. 사실 위의 부분은 어느정도 드라마적 재미를 위해 눈감아준다면 세번째 문제는 재미라는 요소에서 가장 크게 비판받아야하는 부분이다 바로 천문령전투씬이다. 이 드라마가 방영 초기 안시성전투와 이후 이어지는 고당전쟁이 높은 퀄리티를 보여준 반면 대조영이란 제목에 걸맞게 이 드라마의 클라이막스이자 메인이벤트 시청자들에게 최고이자 최대의 임팩트를 남기고 모든 이목을 끌었어야할 천문령전투는 초반 방영되었던 안시성전투의 1/10도 안될 정도로 조잡했고 이는 결과적으로 이 드라마를 기억함에 있어 양만춘이 당태종에 맞서 싸우는 안시성전투는 크게 기억에 남지만 대조영이 이해고를 물리치고 발해를 건국하게 되는 결정적 계기가 된 천문령전투는 도대체 뭐가 있었지?라는 생각밖엔 들지 않게 만들어버렸다. 위의 비판점들은 눈감아주고 드라마적인 재미를 꾸준히 잡던 이 드라마가 마지막에 가서 큰 실수를 저지른 것 어쩌다보니 제목은 추천사극이지만 비판점만 더 늘어나버렸다. 근데 어쩔 수가 없다. 재미는 있는데 비판할 것도 많으니 그렇게 쓸 수밖에..(..) 본래는 정도전까지 쓰려고 했으나 정도전은 좀 더 나중에 좀 더 길게 써보겠습니다 근데 제 글솜씨로 그렇게 할 수 있을진 모르겠네요 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 1 이 게시판에 등록된 피아니시모님의 최근 게시물

홍수현 대조영 편집본 이거 한번 만들어볼라고 다 봤었죠.
편집본 만든다고 넘기면서 나오는거만 볼까했는데
은근 재밌더라고요.. 사극의 묘미를 조금 깨달은..
근데 말씀해주신대로 뒤로갈수록 좀 별로였습니다. 건국할 무렵가선 뭔가 심심.. 그냥 결말이라 그랬나..
