 안녕하세요? 게임글 쓰러 왔습니다. 5월 26일은 제가 위쳐3의 도전과제 플래티넘을 달성한 날입니다. 원래 저는 뭐든간에 트로피 모으는거 신경쓰지 않고 게임을 하는 편입니다. 공략 안봅니다. 커뮤니티 안봅니다. 검색 안합니다. 그러나 1회차 엔딩에서 배드엔딩을 보고 멘탈이 승천하는 바람에, 2회차까지 손을 댔습니다. 그리고 이 게임의 모든것을 달성하고 싶어졌죠. 위쳐는 PS4에서 처음으로 와 진짜 짱재밌어 짱짱! 이러면서 플레이했던 게임이었기 때문에 2회차를 시작하는 데 그닥 망설임은 없었습니다. 다만 역시 도전과제에 매달리기 시작하니 그 재미있던 게임도 혈압상승을 유발하는 골칫덩이로 전락하더군요. 아휴.. 아무튼 감상입니다. 1. 장점 사실 다들 인정하는 갓게임 뻔한 찬양하려고 글을 쓴건 아니고 사실 단점도 많지만, 장점이 워낙 매력적이라 플래티넘 딸때까지 게임을 진행할 수 있었던 것 같습니다. 1 ) 퀘스트 역시 위쳐의 최고 장점은 퀘스트죠. 퀘스트의 진행에 따라 커지는 사건들이나 후일담에 미치는 영향들같은걸 보면 게롤트가 정말로 이야기 속에 녹아들어서 활약을 했다는 실감이 납니다. 정의로운 일을 하고 다녀도 마냥 해피엔딩으로 끝나지는 않으며, 매몰차보이는 일을 해도 마냥 나쁘게 끝나지도 않습니다. 공략 없이 플레이하면 당황스러울 때도 많았습니다. 스포일러가 될 수 있으니 자세한 언급은 피하겠지만.. 해보신분들은 아실거에요. 착해보이는 선택지를 고르더라도 헉 이런 결과를 원한게 아닌데? 로 귀결되는 부분이 많지 않았나요? 2 ) 전투 쉽게쉽게 가는것도 괜찮지만 저는 죽음의 행군 난이도에서 위쳐를 더 재밌게 할 수 있었던 것 같습니다. 충분히 성장하기 전에는 상대에게 한/두대 정도 맞으면 죽기 때문에 엄청 쫄보처럼 플레이해야하고 방어나 회피에 심혈을 기울여야 하며 적을 한번에 삼국무쌍처럼 상대하기보단 (나중엔 가능합니다만) 소수를 유인해서 먼저 끊어먹고 차례차례 상대해야하는 그런 전략성이 요구되죠. 왁~ 들어가서 크악~ 하고 다 죽이는것도 재미지만, 난이도가 높아져도 나름 재미있게 플레이할 수 있었습니다. 이런 행위가 재미로 느껴질 수 있는 이유는 역시 전투엔진이 신나고 속도감 있기 때문이지요. 3 ) 캐릭터와 후일담 저같은경우 1회차를 배드엔딩 본 후에 2회차 하기 전 세계관을 좀 훑어보고 게임을 진행했습니다. 그러고나니 게임이 훨씬 재미있게 느껴지더군요. 아무렇지도 않게 지나쳤던 요소들이 다 어떤 이유가 있었고, 원작반영을 위한 오마쥬도 많이 숨겨져 있었습니다. 저는 전작을 전혀 플레이해보지 않아서 캐릭터들의 행동이 가끔 이해가 가지 않을 때가 있었는데, 공부를 하고 오니까-_-; 더욱 재밌게 느껴지는 효과가 있더군요. 물론 이건 단점일 수도 있습니다. 뭔놈의 게임하는데 공부까지 해야하냐구요. 하지만 만일 플레이어가 위쳐 세계관의 팬이라면 고증이 충실하게 지켜진 캐릭터나 세계관, 그리고 게롤트의 플레이에 따라 변하는 후일담이 엄청나게 매력적으로 느껴지는건 장점이라고 볼 수도 있을듯 합니다. 그리고 캐릭터를 모르더라도 충분히 엔딩까지 도달하는 동안 동료들과 이 특이한 세계관에 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 떡밥을 많이 깔아놓습니다. 그래서 엔딩을 볼때쯤이면 대략 누가 어떤 성격이고 게롤트와 사이가 좋다 나쁘다 같은게 파악이 되더군요. 저는 엔딩이 끝나고 케어 모헨 성내에서 게롤트의 뒷모습이 보이며 플레이를 재개할 수 있게 됐을때, 어마어마한 쓸쓸함이 밀려오는걸 느꼈습니다. 1회차가 배드엔딩이라 미안해.. 4 ) 미니게임 궨트 재밌어요 궨트.. 궨트에서 이기려면 게임 내에서 강자들을 무지르고 자기 덱을 직접 강화해나간다는 점이 정말 좋았습니다. 물론 나중에 AI 패턴을 파악하면 너무 쉽다는건 단점이긴 합니다. (첩보원&미끼덱 = 사기) 궨트 카드 모으려고 혈안이 되었던 경험이 저만 겪은건 아닐테니까요. 저는 발컨이라 경주는 좀 안좋아했는데 어느정도 요령이 붙고 나니까 경주도 꽤 재밌긴 했습니다. 다만 전 마가 꼈는지 경주 버그가 좀 많아서 성질났던 경험이 있네요. 아무튼 재미있게 했지만 게임 클리어하는 동안 마냥 웃기만 한건 아니었습니다. 2. 단점 위쳐3을 재밌게 하긴 했지만 플레이하면서 혈압상승을 유발하는 부분이 한두군데가 아닙니다. 1) 부자연스러운 상호작용 스위치를 내렸다 올리거나 사다리를 오르락내리락 해보신분은 아실겁니다. 평소에는 보이지도 않는 속도로 칼을 휘두르고 휘휘휙 날아다니던 게롤트가 상호작용 앞에서는 지능없는 골렘보다 부자연스러운 뻣뻣한 액션을 취하죠. 뭔가 게임의 흐름을 잘라먹는 느낌까지 줍니다. 뭐 저는 콘솔로 플레이했기 때문에 PC판은 어떤지 잘은 모르겠습니다만 아무튼 콘솔판은 답답합니다. 밑을 보고 사다리를 타고 내려가고 싶은데! X자 버튼 뜰때까지 찔끔찔끔 움직이며 기다리는 그런 순간이 게임에 대한 몰입도를 떨어뜨리곤 했네요. 그리고 대체 불 켜고 끄기는 왜 있는건지 진짜.. 이 게임 하면서 실수로 불 켜고 끈 시간만 따로 합쳐서 돌려받아도 제 인생의 20분쯤은 돌려받을 수 있을 것 같네요. 아이템을 집지 않고 등불만 팍 팍 껐다 켰다하는 게롤트 너란남자.. 2 ) 석궁의 존재가치 석궁 너무 약합니다. 베인 흉내내면서 구르고 발사 구르고 발사 이러면서 놀아보려했으나.. 맨손타격보다 약한 것 같습니다.. 적이 발사한 화살을 맞을 때도 약합니다. (협공당할 때 짜증은 남) 괴물에게 데미지 안들어가는건 뭐 강철검으로 패도 마찬가지니까 인정할 수 있습니다. 그런데 왜 사람에게 쏴도 저지력이 개똥같은건지.. 이쯤되면 석궁을 왜 써야하는지.. 왜 만든 기능인지 설명이 필요합니다. 날것 떨어뜨릴 때 가끔 써보긴 했지만 그것도 차라리 마법으로 떨어뜨리는게 더 쉽더군요! 도전과제에서 50명 헤드샷으로 맞춰 죽이기를 하면서 가장 혈압이 많이 올랐었는데, 그때 석궁 잔뜩 쓸 때 빼곤 게임하면서 석궁을 써본 적이 없습니다. 으음.. 석궁을 더 좋게 할 수도 있지 않나.. 싶은 아쉬움이 드는 부분입니다. 관련 특성도 많은데, 찍어봤자 약합니다. ...궁수 야캐요.. 3 ) 로딩의 압박 (콘솔) 저는 2회차 플레이를 죽음의 행군으로 했는데.. 후반에는 여러가지 안전장치로 비교적 안 죽고 플레이가 가능한 반면 초반에는 길가다 늑대만나면 끔살당할때가 많습니다. 솔직히 악령이고 나발이고 저는 그냥 늑대 무리가 제일 무섭더군요. 아무튼 그렇게 죽고 나면 재시작을 해야하는데 아..로딩.. 로딩이 너무 깁니다. 왜 이렇게 긴걸까요.. 왜.. 4 ) 인터페이스 초반엔 괜찮습니다만 나중에 물약이 많아지고, 퀘템이 많아지고, 연금술템이 쌓이기 시작하면 인벤토리 한번 열때마다, 탭을 전환할때마다 로딩이 은근 깁니다. 이 뚝뚝 끊기는 로딩시간만 합쳐도 1시간은 넘게 보상받을 수 있을겁니다. 그리고 물약도 퀵슬롯 4개에만 넣고 쓰기엔 부족한데, 인벤에서 찾아서 쓰기엔 찾는게 너무 힘들어요. 하지만 콘솔은 최근에 2번째 확장팩이 나오면서 인터페이스 패치도 함께 됐는데 UI가 엄청나게 개선되었습니다. : ) 제가 겜할땐 안그랬는데..하.. 5 ) 위쳐 센스 위쳐 센스는 게임을 흥미롭게 만드는 도구일 수도 있지만 거의 모든 퀘스트에 위쳐 센스를 사용하다보니 그 흥미로움이 오히려 단점으로 전락할 수도 있는 것 같습니다. 난이도를 낮게 하고 위쳐를 플레이하면 게임이 너무 단조로워지는데 가장 큰 이유가 모든 퀘스트 진행을 위쳐 센스에 의존해서 하기 때문이죠. 그냥 빨간거 따라다니다가 적을 죽이는 게임이 되는겁니다. 하긴 위쳐가 주인공인데다 위쳐 센스라는게 너무 사기적이라 (거의 사이코메트리급) 이걸 쓰지 않고 다른 수단으로 퀘스트를 진행하는게 바보짓처럼 느껴질 수도 있을 것 같긴 합니다. 뭔가 빨간걸 따라가긴 따라가되 게롤트가 스스로 판단하기보단 단서 키워드를 주고 플레이어가 직접 해답을 찾아낼 수 있도록 선택지가 더욱 다양했으면 좋겠다는 아쉬움이 들더군요. 물론 그런 '플레이어가 사고해야하는' 퀘스트가 의외로 꽤 있긴 합니다. 하지만 대부분은 그냥 1. 빨간거 따라가서 2. 몬스터를 죽인다 3. 보고한다. 이게 전부라서.. 3. 결론 저는 PS4 입문하는 친구들에게 게임을 추천할 땐 반드시 위쳐3을 먼저 추천하고 있습니다. 여러가지 단점이 있긴 하지만 버그들은 패치를 통해 점점 수정되고 있고, 1년만에 나온 UI개선 패치에서도 볼 수 있듯이 아직도 위쳐3에 대한 케어를 계속 하고 있어요. 지금 UI로 게임을 플레이했다면 플레이타임이 훨씬 절약됐을텐데! 무엇보다 게임 자체가 수작이라고 생각합니다. 단점이 없는 게임은 아니지만 단점을 덮을만한 장점이 아주 뚜렷해요. 저는 이것보다 확실하게 월등히 잘 만들었다고 할만한 게임이 아직 없는 것 같습니다. 위쳐3의 상위호환이 되려면 훨씬 더 방대하면서도 정교한 오픈월드 세계관이 필요해질텐데, 위쳐3처럼 원작 없이 기획될 게임이 그런 컨텐츠를 갖추기 쉽지 않거든요. 플래티넘으로 게임 다해놓고 아 할거없어요 징징 이러는 것 같아 머쓱합니다만 싱글플레이 뿐이라 게임을 다 깨고나면 선뜻 다시 켜지 못하는건 좀 아쉽네요. 전투엔진을 이용해서 PVP나 PVE도 멀티플레이로 가능해진다면 더욱 재밌을 것 같은데.. 아 하긴 할거 없다고 징징대니까 확장팩으로 돈을 뜯어가는걸지도 모르겠네요.. 추가퀘스트가 무료 DLC로 배포되고 있습니다만 긴 퀘스트는 아니라서요. 돌이켜보면 정말 재미있게 했으면서도 트로피 딸땐 욕해가면서; 클리어했더니 애증이 쌓여버렸네요. 하츠오브스톤은 클리어는 했으나 트로피는 덜 땄고, 블러드앤와인도 클리어 해야 하는데 생각보다 현자타임이 오래 가는중입니다. 으으 이상입니다. 리뷰글 어려워요 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 133 Warning: Use of undefined constant no - assumed 'no' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 146 Warning: Use of undefined constant vote - assumed 'vote' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/redtea/html/a_skin/bbsd/view.php on line 161 0 이 게시판에 등록된 YORDLE ONE님의 최근 게시물 |
