최근 영국은 브렉시트의 논란이 한참인데, 브렉시트를 해야하는 이유 중의 하나로 의료관광을 들었습니다. 영국은 NHS라는 무상의료제도를 가지고 있습니다. (정말 무상인지는 영국에 사시는 분이 확인을...) 이 NHS라는 제도를 유지하기 위해서, 의료수요를 줄이는 각종 허들을 둡니다. 주치의제도, 하루에 의사가 환자를 볼 수 있는 숫자, 수술이나 비용이 많이 발생하는 치료를 하는 의사에게는 의사가 발생할 수 있는 비용의 한도를 정하기도 합니다.
