일전에 페이스북을 하다가 문이나 가구가 닫힐 때 감속이 되면서 부드럽게 해주는 부속을 봤습니다. 그 때는 '오 이런게 있네?'하고 넘어갔는데요. 어느순간 보니 집 현관철문이 그냥 손을 떼면 쾅 소리가 크게 나면서 닫히기 때문에 매번 손으로 잡아줘야하는 불편함이 있는 것을 느끼면서 전에 봤던 그 부속을 떠올리게 되었습니다. '그게 이름이 뭐였지? 힌지는 아닌거 같고... 스토퍼였나?' 근데 스토퍼로 검색해보니 제가 생각하는 부속이 나오질 않더라구요. 이래저래 바꾸다 보니 '도어 클로저'라는 부속이 눈에 들어왔습니다. 저희 집에는 이렇게 생긴 도어 클로저가 이미 달려있었지요.  '아. 우리집 도어 클로저가 오래돼서 부드럽게 닫아주는 기능이 망가졌나보다' 라고 생각하고 검색해서 17000원짜리 도어 클로저를 구매했습니다. 새 도어 클로저가 도착했습니다.  근데 막상 낑낑대면서 달아보니 문 쾅 닫히는 건 똑같았습니다. 뭥미... 다시 열심히 찾아보니 제가 궁금해 하던 부속의 이름은 '댐퍼' 더군요. '댐핑 스토퍼'라고 부르기도 하는 것 같습니다.  저한테 필요했던 상품은 이런 종류의 것이었던 거죠. 이 마저도 철문용으로 된건 찾기 어렵고 생각보다 가격이 좀 나가더라구요. 그래서 구매는 포기했습니다. 결국 17000원은 쓸데 없이 날리고 말았다는 슬픈 이야기입니다. 흑흑 p.s: 도어 클로저 필요하신 분 있으시면 말씀하세요. 착불택배로 보내드리겠습니다.
