[조각글 12주차 주제] 무엇이든지 상관 없이 소개하는 글입니다. 픽션으로서 인물 소개를 해도 좋고, 논픽션으로 실제 인물이나 사건을 소개해도 좋고, 비평적으로 작품을 소개해도 좋습니다. 합평 받고 싶은 부분 smap을 알게 되신다면 그것으로 족합니다. 하고 싶은 말 생각보다 쓰다보니 길어져서 한 편으로 적지 못해서 2편으로 나누어적고자 합니다. 이번 주제를 바탕으로 평소에 좋아했던 걸 적게 되서 기쁘게 생각합니다. 본문 SMAP. (Sport, Music, Assemble, People) 은 일본의 아이돌이다. SMAP의 원형은 88년 결성된 쟈니스 쥬니어들의 모임인 스케이트 보이즈에서 시작된다. 쟈니스 사무소는 쥬니어 시절땐 여러가지 맴버들을 뒤섞어서 실험해보곤 하는데 SMAP의 맴버들도 그 중에 속해 있었던 것이다. 이후, 스케이트 보이즈에서 나카이 마사히로 ( 中居正広) 기무라 타쿠야 (木村拓哉) 모리 카츠유키 (森현且行) 이나가키 고로 (稲垣吾郎) 쿠사나기 츠요시 (草彅剛) 카토리 싱고 (香取慎吾) 까지의 6인을 모아 91년 SMAP 으로 정식 데뷔를 한다. 첫 싱글은 Can't Stop Loving 이었는데 이 곡은 현재까지 쟈니스 사무소 아이돌 데뷔 싱글 중 유이하게 첫 주차 1위를 하지 못한 곡으로 알려져 있다. SMAP은 현재의 아이돌의 원형을 만든 시초라고 볼 수 있는데 SMAP 이전에도 히카루 겐지나 소년대 와 같은 아이돌들이 있었지만 그들은 SMAP보다 덜 재밌었으며 자신들을 덜 내려놓았다. 하지만 SMAP은 그 당시 아이돌로는 볼 수 없을 정도로 과감하게 자신들을 내려놓았고, 음악방송, 드라마 뿐만 아니라 버라이어티에서도 솔직하게 자신들을 드러내었다. 데뷔 싱글이 망하고 모든 방송을 찾아다니면서 SMAP을 홍보할 때 옷 벗는거 말고 다른 건 다하겠다고 한 나카이의 말은 이미 유명하다. 그러한 노력 덕분일까, 점차 SMAP의 인지도는 올라가기 시작한다. 특히 맴버인 기무라 타쿠야가 출연한 93년작 야스나로 백서, 가 인기를 끌면서 SMAP 역시도 본 궤도에 들어서기 시작하는데 이후에는 Hey Hey おおきに毎度あり (Hey Hey 항상 고맙습니다)(94) 가 첫 오리콘 1위를 하는등 가요계에서도 안정적인 모습을 보이기 시작한다. 특히 96년은 SMAP에게 굉장히 뜻깊은 한 해가 되는데 그 해 4월, 후지TV에서 그들의 고향이라고 할 수 있는 (무한도전 같은 의미의) SMAPXSMAP가 방송되기 시작했기 때문이다. SMAPXSMAP는 현재까지도 SMAP 전원을 함께 볼 수 있는 유일한 프로그램이며 안정적인 (비록 예전보단 못하지만) 시청률을 기록하고 있다. 이외에도 맴버였던 모리 카츠유키의 탈퇴도 96년이었으며 (현재는 모터 레이서) 青いイナズマ (푸른 번개) SHAKE 등의 히트 역시도 96년이었다. 특히 모리의 탈퇴는 맴버들에게 상당히 큰 충격으로 다가왔는데 리더인 나카이는 탈퇴 기자회견을 하러가는 도중까지 모리를 말렸다고 알려져 있으며 탈퇴 기자회견을 하는 모리 옆에서 함께 고개를 숙이며 시간을 함께했다고 알려져 있다. 쟈니스는 이러한 모리를 행동에 굉장히 화가 났다고 알려져 있으며 96년 이후 꽤 오랜 시간 방송에서 모리를 언급하는 것은 금기시 되었다. 97년에도 ダイナマイト(다이너 마이트) 나 セロリ(샐러리) 같은 곡들의 히트는 이어졌으며 마침내 98년 첫 밀리언 셀러인 夜空ノムコウ (밤 하늘의 저편) 이 밀리언 셀러를 기록하면서 명실상부한 대세 아이돌에 등극하게 된다. (물론 그 직후 이어진 싱글에선 다소 힘이 빠졌는지 4위를 기록하긴 했지만) 특히 00년에 발매한 らいおんハート(라이온 하트)는 150만장 이상을 팔며 현재까지도 결혼식 축가에서 상당히 많이 불리는 곡이 되었다. SMAP은 음반 이외에 드라마에서도 많은 영향력을 끼쳤는데 그 중에서도 기무라 타쿠야의 활약은 군계일학이라 할 만하다. 96년 롱 베케이션을 시작으로 97년 러브 제네레이션 98년 잠자는 숲 2000년 뷰티풀 라이프 2001년 히어로 2002년 하늘에서 내리는 1억개의 별 2003년 굿럭 2004년 프라이드 2005년 엔진 2007년 화려한 일족까지. 모두 평균 시청률이 20%을 넘는 고 시청률을 기록했다. (물론 현재 작품들은 좀 지지부진한 경향이 없지 않지만) 기무라 이외에도 드라마에서 활약을 펼치는 건 우리에겐 웃긴 남자 초난강으로 알려진 쿠사나기 츠요시인데 97년 방송된 좋은 사람을 통해 연기파 배우 이미지를 만든 쿠사나기는 이후에 푸드 파이트 스타의 사랑 내가 사는 길 내가 걷는 길 나와 그녀와 그녀가 사는 길 3부작을 안정적인 시청률로 마치며 배우로써의 능력을 뽐낸다. 이후에도 09년 임혐헬퍼, 발라드 이름없는 사랑노래 등을 히트 시키며 연기 잘하는 이미지를 여전히 유지하고 있다. 상기한 두 명 이외에도 나카이 마사히로는 2002년 모방범 2004년 모래그릇 2012년 ATARU의 작품등에서 연기력을 보여주었으며 카토리 싱고 역시 2002년 사람에게 상냥하게 2006년 서유기 2008년 장미 없는 꽃집 등에서 그 모습을 보였다. 이나가키 고로는.. 미안하지만 좀 희미하다. 다시 가요계 이야기로 돌아와서 2003년, SMAP은 하나의 곡을 맞이하게 된다. 그것이 바로 마키하라 노리유키의 곡인 世界に一つだけの花 (세상에 하나뿐인 꽃) SMAP의 역사는 世界に一つだけの花 이전과 이후로 나뉘어지게 된다.
