작년 6월에 야심차게 런칭한, 애플의 애플뮤직이 벌써 유료회원 1000만명을 돌파했다고 합니다. 첫 3개월이 무료였기에.. 실제 유료 회원이 나온 기간으로 하면 3개월만에 1000만명을 확보한 셈이 되겠네요. 현재 업계 1위인 스포티파이가 약 2500만 전후의 유료 회원을 보유하고 있는것으로 추정중이며 (2천만을 작년에 돌파했습니다.) 애플뮤직이 런칭하고 나서 반년도 안되는 기간에 1000만명을 돌파하면서 업계 2위의 자리에 올라선 상태입니다. (스포티파이가 유료회원 1000만명을 모으는데 걸린 기간이 6년이라는 점에서는.. -.-;;) 어떤면에선 애플 생태계의 위엄이기도 하지만.. 구글뮤직이나 밀크뮤직같은 서비스가 훨씬 일찍 런칭하고.. 더 많은 이용자 풀을 가지고 안정적인 유료회원 확보를 못했다는걸 생각하면.... 현재 애플뮤직은 애플기기에서만 사용이 가능하며, 스포티파이는 기기 관계없이 사용할 수 있다는 점에서도.. 대단하긴 대단하다 싶네요... 개인적으로 현재 쓰고 있는 입장에선.. 최대 단점은 한국처럼 케이팝이 0시 땡 하는순간에 음원이 올라오는게 아니라.. 실제 올라오는 시간이 늦다는거? -.-;; 가 가장 불편한 점인.. p.s 결국 작년에 애플이 여러 저작권자를 만난건 애플뮤직에 케이팝을 세팅하기 위한거였던거 같네요.. 근데 왜 한국 서비스는....ㅠㅠ 한국곡 저작권은 상당량 확보해놓고....
