헤칼트님 고등학교 학생회장 당선을 축하드립니다 --------------------------------------- 그리 오래되지도 않았지만 그리 가까운 것도 아닌 총학생회 선거'들'의 이야기다. 총학생회라는건 우리에겐 너무나 가혹했지만 어떤 사람들에게는 '개꿀'이었다. 고등학교때 진실인지 아닌지 알 수 없었던 학생회장은 대학교 들어갈때 플러스를 많이 먹더라 라는 여러가지 소문은 진실이라면 '개꿀' 그자체였다. 중학교가 그랬듯이, 고등학교가 그랬듯이, 대학교도 선거를 치뤘다. 내가 입학했을때가 7년인가? 비운동권 학생회가 연속으로 총학생회를 장악?한 환경이었다. 결과적으로 총학, 총여, 동연 3대 선거에서 모두다 패배하였다. 선거에서 패배함은 "조직에 실패했다"라고 정리된다. 민주주의의 선거에서는 "공약이 상대보다 안좋았네" 라고 정리되어야 하지만 사실 어떤 선거에서 그렇게 정리 될까... 결국 "니편과 내편의 싸움"이 되어버린다. 국회의원 선거나 대통령들의 선거에서는 내편이란건 나의 "경제나 정치적신념"등에 따르지만 이제 막 대학에 들어온 학생들에게 "내편"이 무엇이고 "니편"은 무엇인지 경계는 없다. 어느 선배가 단톡에서 "XX학번들 YY번 찍어라"라는 단톡 하나에 모두 투표하게 된다. 게다가 누가 투표했는지 안했는지 3초면 찾아볼 수 있으니 조직 하기에 이렇게 쉬운 수단이 있는가. 그렇게 야당(운동권)의 유일한 무기는 공약과 학생들의 정치적인 신념밖에 남지 않는다. 다른 학교는 모르겠는데 우리학교 총학생회는 "개꿀"이다. 신기하게도 총학생회장 사람들은 매년 모두 같은 계열사의 회사에 취직을 했다. 그리고 신기하게도 학교의 "해외여행 프로그램" 또는 "해외 연수 프로그램"에 당첨된다. 기타 총장의 별장에서 고기파티를 벌리고 출석 한번 하지 않았지만 학점들이 빠빵하게 나온다. 1년 장학금 + 취직 + 해외여행 + 띵가띵가 = 개꿀 공식 그래서 그들은 "개꿀"을 절대 놓치고 싶지 않았나 보다. 그 "개꿀" 밑에서 "빨아"댄다면 다음 후보로 나가 자신이 "개꿀"을 빨 수 있게 될테니까? 그들의 개꿀에 대적하기에 공약과 정치적인 신념은 따위가 되어버린다. 건물 입구에서 서있다가 등교하는 과 후배들 손잡고 와서 "몇번 투표해요?" 라는 질문에 손가락으로 몇번이라고 표시해주고 투표 마감 시간 전에는 투표목록을 보고 개별적으로 전화를 해서 불러온다. 물론 불법선거행위가 아니면서 맞다. 그래. 그렇게 "개꿀" 이라면 사람이라면 그럴 수 있다고 생각한다. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 서론은 여기까지 마무리 하고 본론과 결론은 천천히 올리겠습니다.
