대모산은 일원본동 아파트단지 뒤를 넓게, 그러면서 수서동까지 쭉 뻗어있는 높이 293m의 낮은 산입니다. 바로 옆의 구룡산(정상 307m)과는 그대로 이어지는 구조를 하고 있습니다. 대모산입구역이라는 지하철역이 있기는 한데, 이 역명은 완전히 페이크고, 수서역이나 일원역을 이용하는 것이 좋습니다. 제가 살고 있는 곳 근처에 있는 산이며, 예전에는 등산에 관심이 없어서 자주 가지는 않았는데 요즘 자주 찾게 되어서 대부분의 코스를 숙지하게 되었네요. 제가 보통 등산에 입문하는 분들에게 인왕산이나 북악산, 아차산 혹은 용마산, 남산 등을 추천드리는데, 그럼 대모산이나 구룡산은요? 하는 질문을 좀 받읍니다. 사실 난이도만 따지면 대모구룡도 당연히 초보자 코스에 들어가며, 어떻게 보면 남산만큼이나 초보자들에게 매우 쉬운 코스입니다. 여기에서 초보자의 기준은 평소에 운동을 잘 안하고, 등산 관련 장비가 하나도 없는 사람들도 무리없이 갈 수 있다는 말입니다. 대모산의 장점은 다음과 같습니다. 1. 높이 293m, 구룡산도 높이 307m로 완만하다. 2. 위에 언급한 산들과 다르게 육산, 즉 거의 전 코스가 흙길입니다. 게다가 굉장히 정비가 잘 되어 있어서, 후술하겠지만 어씽(맨발산행)으로 아주 인기가 높읍니다. 날씨 좋으면 수십 명 단위로 어씽하는 그룹을 수 차례나 볼 수도 있읍니다. 그정도로 험도는 제로에 수렴합니다. 3. 숲이 많읍니다. 해가 쨍쨍할 때 가리기 좋고, 나름 숲길을 걷는 맛이 있읍니다. 단점은 하나인데, 이게 좀 큽니다. 3번째 장점을 거꾸로 말하면, 전부 숲이라서 뷰가 없읍니다. 그나마 대모산 정상 부근 하나, 구룡산 쪽에 2개인데, 위에서 언급한 산들에 비하면 뷰가 굉장히 아쉽읍니다. 이 이유 하나로 그동안 최고 추천 리스트에서는 제외했던 것입니다. 하지만 만약 자신의 거주지가 송파, 강남 근처다 그러면 운동용으로 대모산-구룡산, 혹은 우면산만한 산이 없읍니다. 오늘은 대모산의 여러 코스 중에서도 대중교통 접근성이 좋고, 나름 거리도 적당하며 그리 험하지 않고 하산도 나름 편하게 할 수 있는 코스를 소개하겠읍니다. 대모산도 동네 산 아니랄까봐 갈래길이 정말 많은데다가, 모종의 이유로 몇몇 곳에서 표지판이 좀 개판인 곳들이 있는데, 그런 포인트들 기준으로 설명을 드릴까 합니다.  수서역 6번 출구로 나옵니다. 나오자마자 매점이 보일 텐데, 앞으로 나옵니다.  조금만 더 가면 우측에 이런 푯말이 보입니다. 저기 보이는 계단이 시작지점입니다. 또한 서울둘레길 4코스 기점이기도 합니다. 계단 좌측에 보이는 곳이 스탬프 찍는 곳입니다. 둘레길 완주인증하실 분은 참고하세요(여기와 양재시민의숲, 사당역 근처 3곳 찍으면 됩니다).  계단이 좀 많아 보이지만 쫄지 말고 천천히 올라가면 됩니다. 경사도 낮고 그렇게 안 길어요. 적어도 이 코스는 긴 경사가 하나도 없읍니다.  경사라 해봐야 완만합니다. 사진이 실제 경사보다 완만하게 보이는건 맞는데, 실제로도 완만합니다. 그리고 짧아요.  금방 이런 숲길이 나옵니다. 이렇게 한 4~500m 쭉 나가면 됩니다. 정말 정비 잘되어있고, 나름 숲의 운치는 있읍니다. 다만 지금은 워낙 덥다보니...  수서역에서 대모산 정상까지는 약 3.3km 정도로, 넉넉하게 잡아도 1시간 30분이면 누구나 정상까지 오를 수 있읍니다. 일단 다른 표지는 무시하고 대모산정상 이거만 따라갑시다.  한 1km쯤 왔을때 갑자기 길 구분이 약간 안좋아지면서 이런 푯말이 보이는 곳이 있읍니다. 여기가 대모산 정상 가는 길과, 서울둘레길 4코스가 갈리는 곳입니다. 대모산 정상은 좌측으로 갑니다. 이게 무심코 길따라가면 우측으로 가기 딱 좋게 되어있어 주의를 요합니다. 특히 야등할 때는 표지판이 잘 안보여서, 진짜 알바 주의 구간입니다. 우측으로 가면 서울둘레길 4코스로 갑니다.  좌측으로 틀면 길인지 아닌지 구분이 안되는 약한 오르막이 나옵니다. 그냥 올라가도 되고, 좌측을 자세히 보면 짧은 나무로 된 펜스같은게 보일텐데 거기로 가보면 잘 되어있는 길이 나옵니다. 또는 우측에 구 계단길이 있읍니다. 선택해서 올라가시면 됩니다.  한 5~10분이면 금방 여기까지 옵니다. 좌측은 세곡동에서 올라오는 길입니다. 당연히 우측으로 갑시다. 정상까지는 1.7km 정도 남았읍니다.  여기에서 한 500m 정도는 또 아주 약한 내리막과 오르막이 반복됩니다. 천천히 숲을 즐기며 걸을 수 있는 구간입니다. 대모산은 이런 구간이 많읍니다. 이것보다도 좀더 평지스러운 숲길을 걷고 싶다면, 서울둘레길 4코스를 추천드립니다. 다만 로봇고등학교로 나오면서 불국사까지 일반도로로 나오는 구간이 좀 있긴 하죠.  그렇게 10분을 걷다 보면 또 갈림길이 나옵니다. 둘레길과 합류할 수 있는 곳인데, 완전히 왼쪽으로 틀면 됩니다. 여기도 밤에 오면 이 표지판이 잘 안보여서 그대로 직진하거나 우측으로 꺾어서 알바하기 정말 좋은 구간입니다. 주의합시다.  좌측으로 꺾자마자 이런 계단이 나오면 정상입니다. 짜증날 수 있는데, 사진에 계단 끄트머리 하늘 살짝 보이는 곳이 계단 끝입니다. 이 사진에서 보이는 게 다라는 거죠. 아까도 이야기했지만 대모산은 긴 경사코스가 단 하나도 없습니다. 그래서 초보용인 거죠.  계단 다 오르면 또 이런 푯말이 보입니다. 당연히 우측으로 꺾습니다. 이제부터는 수서나 세곡동, 은곡동 등에서 오는 길은 없고, 전부 일원본동쪽 길만 남습니다. 길찾기가 쉬워집니다. 정상까지는 1km.  가다보면 서울둘레길 4코스와 합류할 수 있는 곳이 나오는데 무시하고 계속 직진합니다.  험해 보이지만 하나도 험하지 않습니다. 운동화로 오셨다면 제일 우측길로 해서 천천히 오르면 됩니다.  다 오르자마자 이런 표지판이 나오는데, 당연히 대모산 정상 따라 가시면 됩니다. 이제부터는 펜스를 따라 걷게 됩니다. 요즘은 정비를 더 해놔서 나무데크까지 해놨는데, 데크가 짜증나면 바로 옆의 흙길 경사로로 가시면 됩니다. 이 대모산 코스가 서울둘레길, 그리고 무슨 명품강남둘레길 코스랑 겹치거나 주변을 둘러서 가는데, 사실 이런 코스들을 왜 만들었는지 잘 모르겠읍니다. 길을 만든 것도 아니고, 기존에 있던 길을 그냥 지도상으로 이어서 만든 것에 불과하거든요. 그래도 서울둘레길까지는 나름 실제로 이 길들을 다 다녀본 사람들이 정했다고 보이긴 하는데, 그래도 어거지로 잇는 부분들도 있는데다가 그 구간들이 다 컨셉이 확실한지는 잘 모르겠읍니다. 그런데 구에서 자체적으로 정한 무슨 명품둘레길 하천둘레길... 오히려 이런 것때문에 표지판만 쓸데없이 늘어서 길이 정말 헷갈립니다. 관리는 하는 건지도 잘 모르겠고...  이 펜스를 따라 쭉 가면 됩니다. 이 펜스는 구룡산 정상 부근까지 이어집니다. 참고로 펜스 좌측으로 월담할 생각은 꿈에도 하지 마심씨오. 진짜로 실제 상황으로 코렁탕을 자실 수 있읍니다.  그렇게 또 따라서 10분 가다보면 이러한 계단이 나옵니다. 정상에 거의 다 왔다는 신호입니다. 지금까지 본 경사보다는 좀 더 가파른데, 그렇다고 해서 뭐 엄청 험한건 아닙니다. 체력이 좀 빠져 있다면 천천히 조심조심 오릅시다.  우측의 나무데크까지 다 올랐다고 정상은 아니고, 한 단계가 더 남았읍니다. 저 사진 끄트머리까지 가면 또 데크가 나오는데, 거기가 진짜 대모산 정상입니다. 막판 스퍼트합시다.  대모산 정상에 도착했읍니다. 해발 293m, 수서역에서 대충 획득고도 340m, 3.3km 지점입니다. 아무리 초보자라도 1시간 반이면 올 수 있읍니다. 앉을 곳도 많고 전부 그늘이니 조금 쉬었다가 가셔도 됩니다. 이제 하산길을 설명할 차례인데, 아까 펜스따라 쭉 오면서 '한솔마을'이라고 적힌 하산길이 두번 나오는 것을 볼 수 있읍니다. 여기로 내려가시는 분들도 있는데, 저는 이 코스를 상당히 싫어합니다. 하나는 너무 흙비탈이 정비가 안되어 있어서 운동화로 오면 좀 위험하고(등산화면 상관은 없는데 그래도 좀), 다른 하나는 처음부터 끝까지 계단길인데 이 계단 설계한 사람이 등산을 안 해봤는지 계단 한 칸 길이가 너무 짧고 경사도 애매합니다. 한 칸씩 오르기엔 너무 잘잘하고 2칸 오르면 많이 힘드실 겁니다. 제 기준에선 정말 열불나는 경사와 길이입니다.. 그래서 살짝 돌아가더라도 아주 길이 좋은 하산길 하나를 소개합니다. 정상에서 뒤로 돌아가지 말고 계속 앞으로 갑시다.  여기가 살짝 미끄럽습니다. 바위가 아무렇지도 않게 보이는데, 맨들맨들한 바위라 주의를 요합니다. 보통은 우측에도 길이 있으니 그쪽으로 돌아갑니다.  여기에서 좌측으로 그대로 가면 구룡산 가는 길이고, 우측으로 빠지면 하산길입니다. 역시 밤에는 우측 길이 잘 안보여서 알바를 부르는 구간 중 하나입니다. 우측으로 빠집시다. 사진 한 장을 안 찍은 듯한데, 우측으로 빠지면 전기+통신장비들이 보이고, 나무데크 계단길이 보일 겁니다. 죽 내려갑시다.  이 나무데크길 중간 우측편에는 이런 곳이 하나 보이는데, 여기가 우수조망점입니다. 뷰가 거의 없는 대모산에서 그나마 뷰라고 부를 만한 곳이 딱 하나 여기입니다.  아차산-용마산, 인왕산-북악산, 남산 등에 비하면 아쉽지만 그래도 나름 뷰는 뷰입니다.  다시 죽 내려오다보면 갈림길이 나오는데 "한솔마을 APT"만 찾아서 갑시다. 사실 한솔이 아니라 청솔로 나오는 길인데..  이 하산길을 추천드리는 이유가, 짧은 데크들 이후에 계속 이렇게 완만하면서 넓고 좋은 길로 하산할 수 있기 때문입니다. 실제 지도로 봐도 그렇게 많이 돌아가지도 않아요.  마지막 갈림길입니다. 개포 3~4단지로 나올 수도 있는데, 오늘은 청솔마을 아파트로 가는 전통적인 하산길을 소개합니다. 한솔마을, 불국사 표지판이 가리키는 계단길로 하산합니다.  계단 금방 끝납니다. 그렇게 가파르지도 않읍니다.  금방 이런 절이 나옵니다. 이게 불국사입니다. 그냥 흔한 동네 절입니다.  한 500m 정도 이렇게 잘 정비된 길을 오르내리락 하다보면 출구가 나옵니다. 중간에 등산화 세척장도 나오니 에어건으로 정비하실 수 있읍니다.  약간 가파른 내리막이 나오는데 일로 나오면 끝입니다. 좌측으로 빠지면 광평터널, 우측으로 빠져서 쭉 가면 로봇고가 나오고, 거기에서 왼쪽으로 틀면 바로 일원역입니다. 수서역에서 여기까지 약 4.6km, 길어야 2시간입니다. 저는 대모산 야등할 때는 이 코스로 왕복합니다(사실상의 최단코스). 이렇게 대모산 등산코스에 대해서 간단하게 설명을 드렸읍니다. 만약 대모산 정상 찍고 힘 좀 남고 할만하다 느끼시면, 아까 정상에서 직진하다가 갈림길 나왔을 때 우측으로 틀지 말고 구룡산 정상 푯말이 가리키는 왼쪽으로 빠지면 됩니다. 길은 쉬운데, 계속 펜스가 쳐져있는 곳을 따라가다 보면 약 해발 100m를 완만하게 떨구고, 포장까지 잘 되어있는 길을 내려가다가 마지막에 100m를 약간 급하게 올립니다. 대모산 정상에서 구룡산 정상까지는 약 1.7km, 초보자 기준으로는 4~50분 정도를 더 가면 됩니다. 마지막 정상 부분이 약간 가파르며, 힘이 떨어져 있다면 천천히 올라가도록 합시다. 뭐 그래도 정상이 307m라 그렇게 높지는 않읍니다. 하산은 KOTRA나 양재시민의숲, 아니면 다시 돌아와서 구룡마을 등으로 하면 됩니다. 요약하면 등산 입문하는 등린이도 아무 장비없이, 물 한통으로 부담없이 운동할 수 있는 아주 정비 잘 된 숲 우거진 육산...정도?
