https://new.redtea.kr/timeline3/53195 뻘글인데 쓰다보니 1000자가 넘어가서 걍 티탐에 적습니다. 예전에 학교 담임쌤 이야기를 한 적이 있었죠. 그 동안 중고나라보다 평화로운 학교 생활이 있었고 이젠 기말고사가 끝나 방학을 앞두고 있습니다. 평화로운 남중 생활 예시. 담임쌤이 애들을 혼내면서 ‘신고해 XX야. 나도 너 신고할거야.’ ‘미성년자가 인격이 어딨어. 걍 시키는 대로 해.’ 실은 담임이 이 정도로 해야 평화롭습니다. 학생이란 존재에 환상을 생각하시는 분들도 많은데 솔직히 남중, 남고 학생들 그냥 동물이라고 봐도되요. 진짜 어떻게 생활하는지 알고 이야기하시는건가 싶은 생각도 있어요. 오은영쌤 맞나? 남중에 1년 데려다놓고 어떻게 지도하는지 보고 싶네요. 잠깐 딴 얘기인데 아는 사람들 중에 학교를 안간다는 애들이 서넛됩니다. 하나는 다 컸는데 히키코모리고 하나는 이런 저런 얘기하면서 안가고 하나는 학교 가면 폭력적이라도 연락오고 이러면 부모도 스트레스 받다가 결국 애랑 부모랑 같이 정신 치료 받아요. 부모가 너무 공부시켜서 그런다구요? 문제의 발생은 그런 거일 수도 있겠죠. 근데 저쯤되면 걍 학교만 가라. 혹은 사람구실만 좀 하길 바랍니다. 어떻게든 손절하고 싶다는 생각도 하구요. 만성적인 스트레스 앞에서는 부모-자식 없는거죠. 옆에서 저런 애들 볼 때 답답한 건 자기 인생에 대한 책임감이 없다는 겁니다. 공부는 하기 싫을 수도 있죠. 근데 공부는 안해도 학교는 가야죠. 그게 사회에서 학생이 해야하는 역할이잖아요. 얘기 들어보면 이유야 있죠. 선생님이 나한테 못되게 굴었다. 쟤가 재수없게 굴어서 때렸다. 결국은 남탓이죠. Beggars are not choosers. 다른 사람의 배려와 자원으로 사는 사람이 자기가 부족한 걸 남탓하면 안된다고 생각해요. 아이 담임이 ‘미성년자가 인격이 어딨어?’ 에서 인권이 아니라 인격이라 했다는데 저는 일정부분 동의합니다. 본인의 의무와 인생을 책임질 생각이 없는 사람이 인격을 갖추었다고 생각하지 않아요. 혼자 무인도에서 살아도 법은 지켜야하는 겁니다. 오은영 쌤 나오는 건 하나도 안봤는데 저런 아이들에게 자기 인생에 대한 책임감을 심어준 사례가 있는지 궁금하네요. 여튼 담임쌤 이야기로 돌아와서 최근 기말고사가 있었다고 했잖아요. 담임쌤이 중간고사 전과목 20점인 아이를 불러다 이야기했답니다. 너 이번에 기말에 한과목이든 80점 넘으면 선물사줄 테니 해보라고. 그 아이는 결국 한 과목에서 80점을 넘겼고 담임은 교실에서 그 아이 불러다가 기말 성적표 주면서 ‘뭐 사줄까?’ 물어본 다음에 그 자리에서 핸드폰 열어서 10만원도 넘는 장난감을 주문해줬다고 합니다. 전 아이의 담임이 참 훌륭하다고 생각해요. 80점 아이는 지금까지 한번도 동기부여를 못받았을 수도 있는데 담임이 사비를 들여서 해낸거죠. 누가 시킨 것도 아닌데 자기 일을 책임지고 잘 하려는 사람입니다. 물론 욕안하고 지도할 수 있는 사람도 있겠지만 자기가 할 수 있는 한에서 최대한 노력하는 거 좋잖아요. 아이들도 오히려 보호받는다는 느낌도 있는거고. 정말 존경스럽고, 솔직히 담임을 고를 수 있다면 앞으로도 이런 선생님이면 좋겠네요. 맞습니다. 미성년자에게 자기 인생에 책임이 없다는 게 핵심입니다. 예전에 탐라에서 읽었던 것으로 기억하는데, 한국은 미성년자에게 최소한의 책임과 의무도 지우지 않습니다. 왜냐하면 최소한의 자유와 권리도 주지 않았거든요. 부모의 뜻대로 살다가 성인이 되면 무작정 던져진 존재가 되어 방황하는 거죠. 이건 꽤 뿌리가 깊죠.

맞습니다. 미성년자에게 자기 인생에 책임이 없다는 게 핵심입니다. 예전에 탐라에서 읽었던 것으로 기억하는데, 한국은 미성년자에게 최소한의 책임과 의무도 지우지 않습니다. 왜냐하면 최소한의 자유와 권리도 주지 않았거든요. 부모의 뜻대로 살다가 성인이 되면 무작정 던져진 존재가 되어 방황하는 거죠. 이건 꽤 뿌리가 깊죠.
그리고 제 개인적인 생각이지만, 오은영 박사님을 추종하며 본인 자녀에 대한 마음읽기를 본인이 하는게 아니라 교사, 의사, 자영업자, 국가와 사회에게 요구하는 진상 학부모는 자신의 게으름을 허용이란 허울 좋은 핑계로 대신할 뿐이라고 생각합니다. 자신의 인생과 자유가 소중해서, 아이의 잘못을 직면하고 고치기 위해 희생할 준비가 안되며 게으름 부리는 사람들이 부모 노릇을 하고 있는 거죠. 아이에게 미안하긴 한데 뭘 더 노력할 의지는 없으니 허용이란 이름으로 방치하고 있는 겁니다. 그런데 과도한 마음 읽기를 통해 오은영 박사님이 자기 입맛에 맞는 소리를 하니 추종하는 것이구요.
