안녕하세요. 수박입니다. 일주일 내내 컴퓨터 업그레이드 한답시고 난리를 쳤습니다. 살면서 컴퓨터 업그레이드 할 일이 얼마나 있겠어요? 시작은 가벼웠으나 그 과정은 (지극히 개인적으로) 험난했던 후기를 한 번 남겨봅니다. 쓰고보니 좀 길어서 2줄 요약합니다. 1. 대기업 데스크탑 업그레이드할 때는 신중하게 알아보고 하세요. 2. 컴퓨터 조립은 그냥 돈 주고 전문가에게 맡기세요. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 우선 컴퓨터를 업그레이드하게 된 배경부터 말씀드리자면 1년 반 전 쯤 회사에서 중고컴을 싸게 판매한 적이 있습니다. 인텔 코어 i7-6700 프로세서에 램도 16GB! 여기에 그래픽카드만 교체하면 되겠거니 했죠. 귀차니즘 + 그놈의 채굴 때문에 비싸진 그래픽카드를 구매 못하다가 최근에서야 당근으로 GTX 1660 Super로 구매했습니다. 참고로 기존컴은 구려서 1660 Super같은 건 감당하지 못하는 놈입니다. 그럼 이제 해야할 일은 아래와 같았습니다. 1. 회사컴을 뜯는다. 2. 그래픽카드를 교체한다. 3. 전원을 키고 해피엔딩 2번을 진행하려하니 그래픽카드에 맞는 파워선도 없고 출력도 후달리네요. 검색해보니 1660 super는 450W 정도는 되어야한다는 글이 보입니다. 기존컴의 파워 600W를 회사컴 대신 끼우기로 합니다. 이제 해야할 일은 아래와 같이 변경됐습니다. 1. 기존컴에서 파워를 뜯는다. 2. 회사컴에 파워를 장착한다. 3. 그래픽카드에 파워를 연결한다. 4. 전원을 키고 해피엔딩 힘겹게 다 뜯고 다 끼우고 전원을 on..했으나 안 켜집니다. 아까 미리 찍은 사진과 비교하니 메인보드에 꽂아야할 핀이 하나 더 있네요. 근데 그 핀에 맞는 선이 안보입니다? 회사컴에 원래 있던 400W 파워에는 핀에 맞는 선이 있고 지금 끼운 600W 파워에는 없습니다. 파워를 뜯어서 해결이 가능한가?? 근데 그런 말은 컴퓨터 조립에 보이지 않습니다. 구글링해서 찾아본 결과......원인은 회사컴은 HP 데스크탑이었다는데에 있었습니다. 대기업의 완제품 데탑 업그레이드는 비추천한다는 말이 보이네요ㅠㅠ 그래서 메인보드나 파워 규격이 달랐던 것이죠. 생전 컴퓨터 업그레이드도 안해봤으니 이런 것도 몰랐습니다ㅠㅠ 회사컴을 업그레이드하는 건 날라갔습니다. 이제 해야할 일이 갱신되었습니다. 1. 회사컴을 원복한다.(그래픽카드, 파워 재장착) 2. 기존컴을 원복한다.(파워 재장착) 3. 두 컴이 잘 켜지는지 확인한다. 3번까지 힘겹게 완료했습니다. 하지만 문제가 하나 남았습니다. 바로 중고로 산 1660 Super가 붕 뜬다는거죠. 그래서 고민 끝에.........기존컴을 업그레이드 하기로 합니다. (처음부터 이랬다면....) 그래서 예정에도 없던 CPU와 메인보드를 추가구매합니다. 근데 컴퓨존에서 메모리도 바꾸라네요ㅠㅠ 장바구니에 넣어줍니다. 그리고 마침내...오늘 새롭게 컴퓨터를 조립하여 업그레이드를 마쳤습니다. 여기까지 마치고나니 컴퓨터 재조립을 몇 번을 했는지 알 수가 없네요ㅡㅡ; 그동안 컴퓨터 내부를 조립할 일 따위는 기껏해야 메모리 뺐다 끼우기 밖에 없었는데....... 최소 5년은 어떻게든 버틸 수 있는 데스크탑이 되었기를 바라며 글을 마칩니다.
