블랙베리를 아십니까? ;-) 한 때 유행했던 듯 하나, 현재 폭망테크를 타고 있는 스마트폰의 선두업체중 하나입니다. 북미지역에서는 강려크한 기업보안 기능과 메일 푸시등을 활용하여 비즈니스맨의 족쇄로 명성을 떨쳤는데, 한국에서는 반쪽짜리 BIS, BBM 기능으로 인해 몇몇 신기한 것을 좋아하는 기크들과 셀럽들의 이쁜 제가 아프가니스탄 가기 전, 그러니까 2009년까지 쓰던 폰이기도 했습니다.  제가 사용하던 것은 블랙베리 9000입니다. 터치는 안되고, 가운데 트랙볼을 돌려 쓰는 기종이었죠. 블랙베리 폰이 꼭 쿼티를 달고 있는것은 아니지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 블베의 아이덴티티는 역시 쿼티 키보드입니다. 최근 모델들 까지도 쿼티 키보드 달려 있는 것들이 여전히 인기를 끌고 있습니다.  디자인뿐 아니라 스펙까지 클래식해서 까이고 있는 블랙베리 클래식도 있고요~~  려권이라는 애칭으로 불리우는 요상한 키보드를 장착한 패스포트라는 것도 있죠. 공기기로 50만원정도, 약정걸면 30만원 정도에 해외모델을 가져다 쓸수 있어서 아직도 찾는 분들이 계십니다..만. 최근에 안드로이드 앱을 사이드 로딩해서 쓸 수 있게 되었음에도 불구하고, 블랙베리의 앱 활용도는..쥐약입니다. 아이폰 첫 모델부터 써왔기 때문에 손에 익은 아이폰을 놓을 수가 없었죠. 그리하여 아이폰에서 키보드를 활용할 궁리를 해보았지만, 대개 블루투스로 연결하는 미니 키보드가, 아이폰에 케이스 형태로 장착하면 두껍고 뚱뚱해지며 landscape모드로 쓰는걸 전제로 하고 만들어져 있어서, 블랙베리의 쿼티와 같은 느낌이 도저히 안나더라는 겁니다; 궁하면 통한다고, 블랙베리사와 소송전이 벌어졌다는 해외 단신 기사를 통해 새로운 물건을 찾아냈습니다.  기본적으로는 블루투스로 연결하는 키보드 케이스인데, 적당히 블랙베리 쿼티를 잘 베껴놓았습니다. 물론 오리지널 블랙베리 퀄리티는 채 못 쫒아갑니다. 아이폰 5용으로 나온 첫 모델은 꽤 비슷했었는데, 소송걸려서 다운그레이드한 물건을 내놓았고, 아이폰 6용으로도 그 다운그레이드 버젼을 그러니까 키보드 배치가 약간 어색하고, 키감이 나빠진 물건을 내놓더군요. 문제가 있다면 터치ID를 쓸 수 없다는 것인데...(키보드 좌측하단의 네모 버튼이 홈버튼 대체품입니다.) 터치ID 필요할 때 (= 결제할 때)는 케이스를 잠시 벗기고 쓰곤 합니다. 문제는 가격이 100달러라는 것이네요.... 이런 제품이 안나오는게 이상했는데, 소송 문제가 있었군요.
아이폰의 디자인을 좋아하고 아이패드를 1세대부터 사용해서 iOS 경험도 있으면서, 타 기종에서 부족한 아이폰의 카메라가 정말 유용할 것 같은데도,
키보드가 너무 작고 불편해서 아이폰을 선택하지 않은 저로써는 또하나의 아이폰의 사용 가능성이 보이는 것 같아 흥미롭긴 하네요.
정말 키보드 하나 때문에 안드폰씁니다.
이번에 6+가 엄청 커지고, 국정원 때문에 보안대란이 일어나 아이폰으로 갈아타고 싶은 욕구가 엄청 커졌는데,

아이폰의 디자인을 좋아하고 아이패드를 1세대부터 사용해서 iOS 경험도 있으면서, 타 기종에서 부족한 아이폰의 카메라가 정말 유용할 것 같은데도,
키보드가 너무 작고 불편해서 아이폰을 선택하지 않은 저로써는 또하나의 아이폰의 사용 가능성이 보이는 것 같아 흥미롭긴 하네요.
정말 키보드 하나 때문에 안드폰씁니다.
이번에 6+가 엄청 커지고, 국정원 때문에 보안대란이 일어나 아이폰으로 갈아타고 싶은 욕구가 엄청 커졌는데,
6+도 만져보니깐 키보드가 너무 작아요. 제 손가락이 스마트폰을 쓰기엔 너무 큰 모양입니다.
안드폰을 써도 오타가 잦은데, 아이폰을 쓰면 답답해서 못쓸 것 같아요.
