단기 기억상실에 시달리는 회전목마가 관람 1시간 이내에 술술 써내러 가는 본격 인스턴트 영화 리뷰 줄거리 따윈 전혀 있지 않아 건질 거리 하나 없을지도 모르는 이 글을 애써 시간 내서 읽는 당신에게 약간은 미안하고 사과하고 싶은 리뷰 1. 왜 이 영화를? 개인적으로는 영화를 많이 보는 편은 아니다. 몇 년을 기준으로 한 두 달에 한편, 연간 7~10편 정도 보는 정도? 그렇다고 장르를 많이 가리지도 않는다. 아, 멜로는 못 보겠더라. 도무지 무슨 감정으로 봐야 하는지 모르는 선천적 독신자라... 따지고 보면 코미디 70% 심리극 20% 액션 10% 정도로 코미디에 올인하다싶이 하지만 외화 코미디는 보지 않습니다. 이유는 단 하나, 서울 촌놈인 나에게 외국의 개그코드가 안 맞기 때문입다. 어설픈 신파극에 눈물 펑펑 흘리지언정 세련되고 유창한 꼬부랑 발음으로 툭툭 던지는 유머가 도무지 이해가 가질 않기 때문이죠. 2. 그럼에도 왜 이 영화를? 올 초부터 회사에 다니기 시작하면서 느끼는 게 있는데 지금까지 내가 살아온 방식으론 도저히 회사에 적응을 못 하겠더라. 흘러가는 구름처럼 이리저리 묻어가기를 좋아하는 내가 항상 적극적이고 긍정적이며 진취적이며 능동적으로 일을 해야 한다니... (여러분 돈이라는 게 이렇게 무섭습니다.) 그렇다고 사람이 한순간에 싹 하고 바뀔 수도 없는 노릇, 해서 절충해서 꼽은 영화가 바로 외국물 먹은 코미디 영화, 스파이가 되겠습니다. 3. 관람에 앞서... 봐야겠다고 마음 먹은 영화가 생겼다면 일체 그 영화에 대해서 검색을 하지 않습니다. 일종의 스포일러 방지법이죠. 뭐 핵심 내용이나 반전은 아니더라도 포스터에서 쓰일법한 한 두줄의 축약 문장 정도만 볼뿐 김생민씨나 김경식씨가 속삭이는 달콤한 정보는 채널을 돌리게 하죠. 너무 많은 정보는 심신을 지치게 합니다. 4. 결론 개인적으로 좋은 영화였다 아니다를 판단하는 몇 가지 기준이 있는데 하나는 티켓값이 아까웠나? 다른 하나는 다시 볼 의향이 있는가? 입니다 이 스파이란 영화를 놓고 보면 전자의 대답은 NO. 후자의 대답 또한 NO. 이네요 관람 전 제가 가지고 있던 정보는 단 두 가지, 뚱뚱한 여자 사무실 요원이 현장에서 뛴다와 외국 코미디 코드가 곳곳에서 터진다는 정도. 뚱뚱한데 날렵한 사람들에게 일종의 경외심을 가지고 있는 저에겐 슈퍼주니어의 신동 이후로 뜨악하게 하는 캐릭터였습니다. (나도, 나도 저렇게 식섁슉 하고 움직이고 싶다고!!!) 개그 코드는..... 못 찾겠던데요? 없는 건 아닌데 많지는 않은 것 같고 그다지 외국물 먹은 코드도 아니고.... 나름의 도전! 의식을 가지고 본 것 치고는 김새버리는 영화였습니다. 9천원의 티켓값이 아깝지는 않은 딱 그정도 관람 기준중 하나인 속편이 기대되는가? 에는 역시 NO. (슬퍼하지마 NO. NO. NO.) 현재시간 2시 40분. 오, 딱 1시간이 되었네요. 회전목마의 심야영화는 여기까지입니다. 벌써 앞에 봤던 영화관 광고들은 하나도 기억이 나질 않는군요. 다음 리뷰할 영화는 악의 연대기로 예정은 했지만 안 볼 수도 있으니 기대하지는 마세요. 그럼 20000!
